Number Twelve
Number Twleve is a little, hidden gem. Located in the Ambassadors Hotel, the restaurant is described as serving Italian food, with a British-inflected menu. Number Twelve did that and did it exceptionally well. The Lunch menu had good choices for veggies and the Toptable offer was brilliant value - two three course meals and a bottle of wine for £50. Best of all was the quality and presentation of the food. If more people visited, this little gem would sparkle a little bit more.

Georgetown - London Bridge
We went to Georgetown for Lunch and the overall experience was not overly impressive. The place is nice, however was completely deserted Monday lunchtime. The main course was alright, but the dessert (tropical fruit salad) was rater tasteless except of some kind of amaretto syrup. Staff was nice and overall value for money with the set-menu is alright. Not sure I would go again given the overall experience.

Mint Leaf iserves really delicious indian cusine and is a cool and relaxed place to dine. Service is really good and welcoming. We were given a special Mothers Day gift which was a lovely touch at the end of a perfect meal.

Dukes deal was fantastic. I took my parents who couldnt believe you could get such a great meal in London for £20. Obviously the extras pile up if you choose to let them but the food was really excellent. Highly recommended!

Tucked away in the bottom of a hotel - looks more like a B&B dining room than a restaurant. Food much better than surroundings though, with an excellent choice of dishes, all cooked well and in nice sized portions. Staff were friendly and efficient.

One O One Restaurant
One O One Restaurant looked unassuming from the outside, but we were greeted warmly, the staff were intent on making sure we were satisfied with our seating arrangements.

The menu was short, intelligible and bereft of excessive hyperbole. The range of fish was good, the cocktails were punchy and the food was tasty.

We had a good time over the 3 hours we were there.

Pasha
Pasha gets top marks for decor, ambience and an extensive drinks menu. Even the food is pretty good - where I felt let down was service, which I found to be slow, unattentive and certainly not worth the £11 service charge on the bill.

North Pole Piano Restaurant
The quality of the food and service at the North Pole Piano restaurant was excellent and a very pleasant surprise indeed. The restaurant was very quiet which is a shame as this place deserves to be rocking! All 4 of us had different meals and we all enjoyed them immensely, my salmon was cooked perfectly and had deliciously tasty accompaniments. There was a small glitch in that the 50% offer was not included on the bill initially though this was corrected swiftly and without question.

Cantina del Ponte
Very good service, despite being extremely busy - presumbly because of Mother's Day. Limited special menu, but my fish was well cooked, as was my daughter's pork loin dish. Her pudding disappointing though, as it tasted grainy and dry - a chocolate polenta cake (not plain chocolate cake as on the menu). Surprised there were no potatoes available - not everyone is into pulses ! Few wines by glass and no half bottles,
But restaurant had superb view. and was reasonably good value overall.

Med Kitchen is a good choice pre Saddlers Wells, pleasant enough, but not worth a detour. Soup was excellent but fishcake somewhat bland. Nice ambience though.

I went to Pasha for a late lunch on mothers day and was very happy with everything! The food was great, fantastic ambience and decor and excellent service..perhaps even over attentive. Was good value with the 50% off, otherwise would have been a bit pricy. Would go again!

Nice food but add-ons pushed the price up very quickly and auto charge of 12.% on the bill for 3 diners means I won't be going back. £95 for 3 diners for lunch.

Cantina Vinopolis
Cantina Vinopolis was a beautiful place to eat, the wine list was fairly expensive but given that we were late and turned up at 4pm when it was closing AND they still gave my mother a free meal (it was mothers day!) and it was all very tasty, id definately recommend it. Bustling area of london to go walking about afterwards too. Great!

The Albany Dining Room
The Albany Dining Rooms is very close to the rigby havens of Twickenham and The Stoop and therefore it's busiest times will be on days when there is a match, both before and after the game. We had a booking which was while a game was actually being played so it was strangly quiet and lacking atmosphere. Having said that the Sunday roast was very good.
