It was quite quiet in Atami when we were dining there and there were a large number of serving staff who conspicously circled our table to clear our plates which was a bit off putting as myself and my dining partner were obviously enjoying long chats. But the food was very tasty and if it had been busier, I'm sure the staff would have been less stuck for plates to clear!

We went to Atami for lunch on Friday. It was very quiet but the staff were extremely attentive and he food was excellent. It's not a cheap lunch but definitely great quality. I would recommend this to anyone who likes Japanese food.

Atami was my first experience of Japanese and I will definitely be going again. Excellent food and helpful staff who were able to answer my slightly ignorant questions!

Great food, good service, nice comfortable restaurant, the music was a little distracting but that may be because the restaurant was very quiet. The restaurant was v quiet for a Friday night, so would say that the ambience could be better, but very good scran and would definately go back!

Food was well prepared and presented, portions were small however. 3 Asparagus! However, that said all the starters and mains that were ordered were excellant in their own right, highlights being the Rock Shrimp and the Black Cod. Restaurant wasn't busy so the ambience was quiet. Overall was a good dinner

One of the few good restaurants in this underserved area, Atami offers a good value lunch menu - especially when you consider the sublime freshness of the fish. The decor is smart and modern enough for clients and service is efficient. Quite expensive for dinner.

Atami is a nice place with great cocktails and some good dishes. I was however disappointed with the sashimi - surprisingly, it didn't feel 100% fresh. Also, the service was a bit pushy.

The food at Atami was lovely. We only went for lunch and had one drink each (there were 2 of us) and our bill came to £40 which considering we ate from the lunch menu, was quite expensive. Would definately recommend though.

Atami was a pleasant surprise. We had the chef's tasting menu which was excellent, especially the marbled beef and the sashimi and the sushi were fresh & of a good quality. The service was reasonable but could be improved. All in all, definitely worth a visit
