Embassy Reviews

The Embassy was a fantastic venue. It was quiet but perfect for our group. The food was very good plus good vegetarian dishes especially for the deal we had. I would definately recommend this venue to my friends. Thank you

Very quiet on a tuesday evening, we were the only diners. I think the food was average but the service very good. Not sure I'd go back.

A great place to have a meal with your friends. Its a shame we couldnt stay for the club after!

We had a fab meal for a friends birthday. One of our party had to leave after the starter, they didnt charge us for that. One of our desserts was late arriving on the table, so they didnt charge us for that either. Overall excellent customer service and the menu was good value for money. Drinks at the bar very expensive, bottles of wine were much more value for money.

Wonderful service - really couldn't rate the staff high enough! Food was good as always and we had a lovely evening - great cocktails too. We ended up eating mainly off the a la carte menu but a good deal if you eat off the set menu.

The Embassy is not realaly ideal for lunch because it's a night club so we were rather lonely ! The food is really quite good-we had \Salmon which was tasty and perfectly cooked. The trouble was that it took a long time in coming !

Embassy: we arrived almost half an hour late but were greeted by staff who were gracious and understanding. Our waitress was attentive and extremely friendly. Our main courses were a tad salty and dry, but teamed with the right wine still ended up a delightful experience. Relaxed atmosphere and great for catching up in a chic setting.

We went to the Embassy on a Fri night. When we arrived early we were the only custimers. The food and service were both excelent and good value with the TT offer, but as the night wore on became more raucus as the clubbers started turning up. After 10 the restaurant & club merge. OK if you dont mind but dont go expecting a quiet meal.

Embassy was good value for money with the top table deal and the food that we had was great. The only problem was that in order to offer such good value, some of the menu options were a bit basic/limited. I was particuarly disappointed with the dessert selection.

Myself and a couple of old friends dined on the offer at The Embassy on a Weds night. We planned to have a dirnk in the bar first but as no one came to serve us (maybe 5 other tables) we decided to head to the restaurant. Things improved by far here. The portions were tasty & generous and a good selection to choose from. Our waitress was friendly & polite but the only thing that let the place down was the ambience. There was only one other table apart form us! We had a lovely time even so.

I was slightly disappointed with the food at The Embassy, but the £20 toptable offer is very good value. Would probably go back, good for group meals.

Went on a Wednesday night and the restaurant was almost empty so was a bit too quiet. We had the 2 courses TT deal which was good. 3 choices for each course including one vegetarian option. I had the pork belly for starter which was nice but a little bit salty. The chicken breast with cous cous was delicious.
Overall it was a great night out but next time I would dine on a Fri or Sat night instead.

great place but we were the only people there!

RB reviewed Embassy on 21/10/2008

The problem was having lunch in what is a night club so that we were the only diners. Having said that, the food was delicious and the service attentive.

really good value for money and good choice of food. service was really good also and food came within a reasonable amount of time. would highly recommend for large party of diners as the set menu is good value for money.

Nice food, did not take the special offer as the food choices are limited on the special offer.
