They tried - but too hard. The Spiced Aubergine was good, but the rice with it was overcooked and when we raised it with the chef he said " Yes I know, it was because it was reheated" ouch. Chicken had a tasty sauce, but the meat had a bit of grissle. It was okay, and a nice looking place, but it certainly needs more traffic !

Freddy's was... fine. We were welcomed with a smile which was nice, the wine wasn't great but the food was OK. Nothing spectacular but fine for a mid-week supper.

Freddy's Bar was OK, was extremely quiet for a Thursday evening out, which was a shame as my group was up for a fun atmospheric evening....would have been nice if there was some live music. We arrived 8.30pm & we were still the only table of 6 in one part of the restaurant! The food was OK standard prices too. Were out of fillet steak & prosecco so wasn't a good start! However, for a local it could be worse but was clean & staff friendly! Would be a nice place when buzzing!

Freddy's was a nice place, have been meaning to go there for a while, it was very quiet but seeing as there were 8 of us, we managaed to liven it up.

Freddy's was a fun night out for a large group. It's loud, so no chance of diturbing neighbouring diners. Food is okay. Starters probably better than mains, particularly for a vegetarian group. The vegetarian main meals were bland.
Service - not worth a mention at all. I'll put it down to an off day, as the manager did go out of his way to make amends.
Would I go again? I probably would - to have starters and a few drinks at the bar, but not for a full meal. Desserts did not tempt at all.

I had a great time at Freddy's, ideal place to meet with friends over a nice cocktail. Great for special ocassions such as Christmass.
The seabass was full of flavour and very tasty. The starters could be improved on in the restaurant.
Excellent choice of wines from all over the world.

I went to Freddy's as its local to where i live.. It was fairly quiet but that is usual as we went 6pm.. It did start to pick up later in the night, as they have a separate bar and people go there for after work drinks. We had glass of wine, main course and dessert and it worked to be about £20 a head, which included the 30% discount that was pretty reasonable. We did enjoy our night though.

Freddy's looks new and inviting and was nice and busy on a Friday evening. The food was really tasty and good value with 30% off from toptable. There was incredibly loud music from 8.30pm however, so loud I could not hear the person sitting next to me. We asked for it to be turned down a bit and were told the DJ said no. It is a great place to go for a dance perhaps but far too noisy on a Friday and Saturday evening for a catch up with friends.

Freddy's - We went on a Tue eve so shouldn't have been surprised that it was empty. The menu wasn't really that interesting & the food was the same. Our bruschetta was so so... Would not rush back

THis is the second time I have eaten at Freddy's. The servings are a good size and the food is good considering what you are paying but it isn't the finest food you'll ever eat. The service is a bit hit and miss. The atmosphere is good for group gathering but definitely not the right place for a romantic meal.

We found Freddys to have an excellent Cocktail range (6.50-6.45 each), large starters (we had Nachos @ 4.95 and Jalopeno Poppers @ 3.95), good main courses (Cheese burger @ 8.50, BBQ King Prawns @ 13.95), reasonable desserts (Tiramisu @ 3.95 and Coppa Yogurt @ 4.25). Quite an enjoyable meal and experience, even though, the bill still came to 69.40 for the two of us. However, we are planning on going back to Freddys as it was enjoyable and value for money.

Having dined at Freddy's last night, i will ensure to dine there again soon.. It was a easy evening with a few glasses of wine, pleasant food and good service.. The restaurant wasn't busy but it was a Monday night..

Freddy's was a really nice venue, the atmosphere was wonderful. The menu looked exciting but unfortunately some of the dishes were of very poor quality. I was part of a party of 10 and I would say that half of us found our food to be way below standard. I would not recommend this place because although some dishes were acceptable the ones that were bad were truly dire and a game of pot luck isn't what I want from a restaurant. Don't order (Frozen) calamari, chicken wings or risotto especially!!
