Description of Gallery
Yes, really. Gallery is an actual art gallery that boasts work by some of Britain and France's brightest young lights - Damien Hirst, David Begbie, Gavin Turk, Mark Quinn for instance -- and it's also a restaurant, bar and club. A bit of the West End in North London, they say and we'd add Hoxton, Shoreditch and some of the groovier studios south of the river. Décor is contemporary modern to give the artworks room to breathe. Early twentieth century works feature in the dining room, which chef Stephen Englefield complements with his own works of art on the plate. The cuisine is English, but with French underpinnings and features dishes like starter of orange and cardamom braised oxtail with house-made gnocchi, main course of the chef's favourite roast saddle of lamb with cauliflower puree and grain mustard sauce, and dessert of prune and armagnac crème brulee.

Additional information for Gallery
This is a smart operation, bringing more than a touch of the capital's amazing artistic energy to this area of North London. Now pay attention, because there are many possibilities for your party, launch, event or reception. The sunlit bar can accommodate up to 130 seated, while the moodier club can handle a few less at 120 seated. The VIP area is much more intimate, seating up to 30, and the hire of the restaurant itself will allow you to seat up to 70. The group menus are just as inventive as the a la carte.

The Gallery was a quiet friendly place to eat

I have now eaten at the Gallery twice. The food is of a very high quality and the service is very good. On weekday nights it's very quiet, but I gather their all day sunday lubh is very busy. I like this restaurant, even if it seems out of place in its current location - one would expect a restaurant of this style and standard to be in the heart of the west end, so it's great to have it in NW London if you happen to live in this area. Highly recommended.

Once again, The Gallery did not disappoint. Delicous food, beautifully served and immaculate service. Would like to see more people in there as that would improve the ambiance. This restaurant deserves to do well.

Had another lovely family Sunay lunch at Gallery. The service was excellent and there was a good choice of food which is fantastic value at just £14 for 3 courses and £5 for a child. It was my Mums birthday so they wrote "happy birthday" on her dessert plate and even sang to her!
Will definitely return.
