Description of Galvin at Windows
Under the design direction of Keith Hobbs, Galvin at Windows has emerged as a glamorous space that looks back to the decadent 1930's. Though the phenomenal wraparound views were reason to make this a destination restaurant, the addition of Chris Galvin's expertise in the kitchen now makes this a must. Having gained his first Michelin star at The Orrery, and then moving on to open the much-lauded Galvin, the food here is guaranteed to be as impressive as the views. Start with a bisque of native lobster, spring vegetables and Cognac to start, followed by braised monkfish, shrimp, mussel and saffron paella. Once you've caught your breath from the impressive vista of London, prepare to lose it again on puddings like basil crème brulee with strawberry ice cream.

The service was excellent - interaction with every member of staff was friendly, warm and personal. There was a good variety in the starters and main course. The portions were generous, esp the starters. Catering to a dish off the menu for a child in the group, was no issue at all. They even noticed that the dish needed heating up half way thru the meal as the child was taking longer than usual to finish the meal. They were most attentive without being overwhelming. Most certainly will pay another visit here - great good, excellent service, great view!

The offer for 50% off at Galvin at Windows was brilliant. The service was of a very high standard, the atmosphere was charming, there were great views and the food was cooked very well. I would definately reccommend the restaurant, in fact i'm thinking of going again myself.

Galvin at Windows, no surprise. The view you have from the 28th floor of the Hilton Park Lane is very nice, even if you are not seated on the tables next to the Windows. The food and the wine are great, very good non salted fois gras as a starter and amazing beef fillet as a main (please have some good red wine with it if you drink). Leave some place for the peanut butter parfait or the cheese. Galvin at Windows, it is good sometimes to have what you expect.

I went to Galvin at Windows for my girlfriend's birthday and had a fantastic meal. The views are great and this is completmented by delicious food! This is the perfect place for a romantic meal. It is expensive but was aware of that before I booked. London is full of great places to eat so somewhere else will be next on the list

The top table deal is great value, not sure it would be so good if you were paying full price.

Galvin at Windows- Great restaurant, attentive staff. The food was very good coming from a set menu. Definitely worth the experience.

The service was fantastic. The waiters took considerable time out to translate the menu to my french speaking guest and they were all incredibly friendly. But the food was nothing special and some dishes were over salty (my partner was picking the grains of salt off of his plate). The value for money is OK, but only because of the 50% discount.

Good food in a great location. Service attentive until we left - we were pretty much ignored!

First time at Galvin. Food was very good although would have been a little pricey without the 50% off toptable deal. Service was good to start but slowed a little as the place filled up. Views breathtaking however and all in all a very good experience, will definitely be back.
