This restaurant is a rare treat. When we asked for an explanation of what the different cuts of meat were, we were presented with a chopping board with a selection of cuts and talked through each one. We decided on one of their special cuts (marinated for 24 hours I think) and we selected a good Argentian red wine as well as some side orders of roasted veg and sweet potato chips. The food was melt in your mouth and the service was unbeatable. Was very good for a Sunday lunch.

Gaucho picadilly is a great foodie adventure night out, with a treat for those meat loving taste buds, a glowing welcome and ambience to inject a happy feeling. Go! enjoy the beef! and go again! Brilliant

Gaucho Piccadilly is the second one I have visited from this group and it didn't disappoint. The food was superb and the setting far more appealing than Canary Wharf....special mention to the staff as well....they were courteous and attentive...just brilliant

I had heard good reviews about the Gaucho grill and decided to go. The ambience was nice and service was OK, although we had to tell the waiter to stop pouring our wine. The waiter explained about the different types of steaks and how they were best cooked. The steak was really good but I think it was over priced. Smallest steak starts from 17GBP not including a side order. Starter, steak, chips and one bottle of wine for four cost 180GBP. Not worth it in my opinion.

The food is ok but not the traditional argentinian food we expected. Ambience and service are ok. If you look for a fancy argentinian restaurant this is the place to go. If you look for a real argentinian try something else. Somewaht overpriced for the food you get.

Basement section is already dark and lighting not enough. If book request for 1 or 2nd floor better atmosphere. Basement bathroom tooo dark! More light please in ladies.

Always a good experience. Don't go for well done meat thoughas does come out crispy. Excellent service.

Gauchos is always a good night out. The food is wonderful and the ambience lovely. The staff were a little slow on the evening but as a whole generally helpful and courteous. I would rate it as one of the best steakhouses in London.

Strictly for carnivores, really (although there are one or two veggie options). The beef was superb: tender, full of flavour, and cooked exactly as we had wished. Service was attentive but not pushy, and the waitress was knowledgeable about the meat choices and the extensive Argentine wine list. Decor is dark but attractive, with extensive use of natural piebald cowhide for both seats and wall features. Excellent location to recover from West End shopping or prepare for the theatre!

The thing with the Gaucho is that you get exactly what you expect, every time, good steaks, well served, in a great atmosphere. It's not the cheapest but one of the best at what it does. Add to that an excellent wine list, fairly priced with a good selection of Malbecs and you have the recipe for a great time. If steak is your thing there's no where else you can go where you know it will be good every time....
