Description of Getti
Getti load of this - a modern, vibrant, stylish Italian restaurant at the upper end of metropolitan Marleybone Village aka London A-list territory. Crisp blue and white décor, intimate alcoves, smooth wooden furniture sat on by an affluent clientele (Barbara Windsor and other famous BBC faces are regulars) - that's Getti. But that's not all. Overseen by Stefano Fraquelli - an established figure in the capital's restaurant scene - the menu is made up of a variety of traditional dishes from Po Valley to Sardinia - that have stood the test of time, and are probably yummier now than they ever were. Signature dishes include any of the Sardinian options on the weekly-changing set menu such as suckling pig cooked with Mirto liquer. When the sun shines brightly, you can dine al fresco looking out at bustling Devonshire Street and Marleybone High Street, taking that one step closer to feeling as if you really are living la dolce vita.

Additional information for Getti
If organising a bigish party of up to 80, whether it be an anniversary, business lunch, leaving do etc. why not book Getti's basement where you and your friends can enjoy yourselves in elegant exclusion (the basement is particularly popular for Christmas events). Smaller groups might prefer a table in front of the main window, the restaurant's prime spot. The most popular drinks here are Prosecco, a sparkling white wine, and that refreshing classic, the bellini. Do try them. Menu-wise, there's an a la carte and set (two and three courses) and, naturally, Mediterranean canapés. And as there's no dress code, you can always make up one for your guests!

Getti Reviews

Getti was a real suprise, the service was excellent and the food and wine was great value for money. We love Italian food and this place ticked all the boxes. On a warmer summer evening it would have been nice to sit outside but our table by the window was perfect.

I have been to Getti three time before, always at lunchtime and have really enjoyed it. In the past the food was fresh and imaginative and the service excellent. On this occasion we were put on an outside table and the food was very ordinary. I would definitely not go there again in an evening and sit outside.

A friend and I went to Getti for what we hoped would be a long leisurely lunch - we were there for half an hour and were ready to leave. Of course its never good to wait ages for your food but the starters came (bread a little on the stale side) and then the main courses literally within 2 minutes after. Standard (and rather quick) Italian fare.

The food at Getti was amazing, but the restaurant ambience and decor were not that exciting.
