Description of Il Gustoso

This fresh and modern Italian, on Blythe Road in Shepherd's Bush, will have you hooked . The spacious interior, with clean lines, wooden floors and a huge floor to ceiling window combined with the down to earth staff, make Il Gustoso restaurant immediately inviting, the a perfect place for long, lazy lunches. The restaurant is still often full in the late afternoon, and fills up early in the evenings with couples and fashionable locals. The traditional fare is fantastic, popular dishes include the penne Americiano, the delicious selection of anti pasti and the Neapolitana pizza. Don't miss the delicious panna vanilla pudding.

The food was very good but the restaurant was near empty which I find strange as this was said by a previous reviewer and I expected it to have become more popular. The fillet steak was excellent although small portions but was not that impressed with the dessert choice. Reasonable prices and friendly staff.

Il Gustoso is pleasent, the food was very good.
We were there on a Sunday night and it was empty. (we were the only people in there)
I would go again.
The value for money is great.
