Incognico Reviews

Incognico was a slight disappointment for me. The restaurant is very nice and comfortable, but the service was a little stiff and impersonal, although they performed all the right functions. The pasta starter was a little too al dente and the main course lacked imagination. Over all, the main problem was with the food. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't much to write home about. Plain presentation and fairly standard menu ideas. I would have liked more of a "wow" factor.

Food was of good quality but the overall experience wasn't as good as I was expecting. The service didn't feel friendly and a number of the guests felt the staff put them on edge. If it wasn't for the TT deal it would have been an expensive meal.

Incognico was just the place for a meal with family and friends before Christmas - the food was lovely, the service excellent and the wine list was excellent too. Would definitely come again!

The meal at Incognico was extremely memorable. Service was impeccable and atmosphere relaxed but sufficiently formal to make it feel special. We spent quite a bit in spite of the offer - wine is not cheap but good list - but did not mind given the quality of the experience

Another thoroughly excellent meal at Incognico! Sublime food in a lovely dining room. Attentive but not overstated service. What more is there?

Incognito is a smart french style bistro. The £35 deal is good although with water, wine and side dishes we ended up paying £75 a head!

This place is great for lunch, especially if someone else is paying the bill. I took four business associates for their annual celebration, and no, they're no a load of pin-striped hoorays, and had a great time, as we have on the previous two occasions. OK, it's a bit pricey but food is very good, there's a limited but pretty good quality range of wine and the service is very friendly. Will certainly go back again, if we're spared.

Had a fantastic evening at Incognito. Still an expensive night out though. Or bill was £160 for the two of us with the top table deal of £35 per head so beware... Having said that the food and service were excellent and would go again for a special night out.

Lunch for 4 at Incognico on Friday 19th @ 2pm.
We received a warm welcome from Incognico. Surroundings are very comfortable, just the right size from my liking, small enough to offer a personal dining experience whilst not being too boutique.

All guests enjoyed the food. Fellow diner had Mackerel with Beetroot and explained it as sensational. My Lamb was exceptional.

I chose Incognicoas the venue for our office Christmas dinner and could not be morepleaaed with it. The service was the vest that I've had in London, the atmosphere excellent, the location extremely central, and most important of all, the food was outstanding.

thoroughly enjoyable food and very good service. I did however think the wine was overpriced. In saying that, this wouldnt stop me choosing this restaurant again.

We went out for a work Christmas celebration - there were 7 of us eating and the staff at Incognico made sure we looked after really well. We were greeted warmly by the staff and made to feel really welcome. Antonio our waiter was lovely. knowledgeable about both wine and the food - helping us to make our choice. Excellent.

Went to Incognico. The venue is very nice, warm and clubby feel. Efficient service & we were largely left alone which is good. Food good & tasty. Would go again, although without the offer I feel it is overpriced.

Incognico is a nice French restaurant with a buzzy atmosphere (we went on a Friday night). The food is good but not spectacular with the usual suspects on the menu. For the price you might expect more of an eating experience. The offer of three courses and a glass of Champagne for £35 is not much of saving over a la carte but all in all a good meal.

Mark Adams reviewed Incognico on 18/12/2008

Incognico is always very reliable and the fact that the special offer is always based on the a la carte makes it excellent value too.

RP reviewed Incognico on 16/12/2008

Incognico was fantastic in dealing with the needs of my party. At the last minute we required a private room which was fully accommodated, including a dedicated waiter. The food was fantastic and the choice for a relatively small restaurant at Xmas was excellent. Thoroughly recommended

i asked for a 20 person tabel and they gave me 2tables of 10 which really dissappointed me, and they made no effort to rectify this!!!

Disappointing after a much more enjoyable visit a month or so ago. Not sure if it was because the restaurant was much busier but the food was much less generous than previously, despite the extra £10, and the glass of fizz raspy and not of the same quality. Pity because it was our group's Christmas get together and it is a good restaurant

Incognito was a lovely little find in the centre of London. With the toptable offer, the food was excellently priced. The staff were very attentive with the exception of a slightly stroppy barman who obviously thought we were taking too long to sip our champagne and people watch at his bar!
