Description of Indian Moment
An inviting, understated burgundy exterior on bustling Northcote Road opens into a modern, attractive space (it needs to be; this is Clapham Junction) of deep red walls, glossy wood, latticed-backed chairs and bright lighting. A gently diverse menu ranges from a 'simply Indian' set of familiar dishes, to grills and 'adventurous show-bites' such as spicy king prawn peri peri, and soft fresh crabmeat cooked in a South Indian medium spicy sauce.

Additional information for Indian Moment
Cost depends on your choice of menu. A la carte from £22 a head, £7.95 for a buffet. Vegetarians well catered for e.g. pumpkin bhuna, salmon kadi. Halal and children's dishes too. Smaller groups of 30 can dine in cosy semi-privacy under the skylight at the back.

Very friendly service..the guys were so attentive, and were accomodating even though we were 20 mins late. The restaurant was packed for a thurs night. Enjoyable experience and would surely go back there. Decent wine list with wines in a very affordable range. A Gem of an place! Well done guys!

The food at the Indian moment was definitely superior to others in the area. If you are going as a big group I would recommend getting the waiters to just bring a selection of starters to the table and then ordering dishes to share. A good place to go as a group as they didn't seem to mind the noise that we made and neither did the other customers! highly reccommended and will definitely return.

The Indian Moment is a fantastic place for curries. Friendly service, and unusual dishes all prepared to the highest standard combine to make it an evening to enjoy in either a small group or large. And no post pub crowd either!

I had not been to Indian Moment for awhile and ordered my favourite dish the Green Zingha Prawns which I found quite disappointing. Whilst the prawns are huge, there were only two on the plate with a piece of aubergine.

The ambience however was still the relaxed intimate atmosphere that we enjoy and I would still go back to this restaurant as the food generally is very good, but I will have to find a new favourite dish!
