Attracts lots of business types at lunchtime but in the evening it is very romantic with low lights and stylish decor naturally enough from the Lebanon. Live Arabic music Thursday, Fridays and Saturdays in the winter and every day for the summer. What's cooking? Hummous, tabouleh, moutabel - baked aubergine with sesame oil and lemon juice, grilled halloumi cheese on Lebanese bread, minced lamb served with toasted bread with yoghurt and pine nuts. Comprehensive wine list including the excellent Lebanese wine Chateau Musar.

Ishbilia
It was the first time I had visited the restaurant since the refurb and it looks wonderful. The food and service are just the same as I remember ... great.

Ishbilia is one of the best Lebanese restaurants in London....and the surprise is that it is smack bang in the middle of Knightsbridge. Fabulous food, delicious cold and warm mezzes and mint tea which you could drink for ever as the cold nights settle in. With a group of six and even two bottles of wine being consumed, and endless food, bill was still only £35 per person which for London is a great deal. Must try!

Our office had a christmas lunch here and it was lovely. The food was great and very varied, made a change from having a large plate of food plonked in front of you, we had lots and lots of picky bits and all really joyed it, would go back.

Good food but the waiters and the atmosphere aren't really nice...

Ishbilia is good if you love Lebanese food; everything we ordered was lovely. The service was ok; not at all friendly but efficient. Not much of an atmosphere in there and not somewhere you'd go to make a night of it but if you're just nipping somewhere for food I would recommend! Our bill came to £70 for 4 mezze items and two mixed grills with no wine which I thought was slightly pricey!

very friendly staff who were happy to select a big selection of dishes for our party of three. A new experience for me and certainly one that I would look forward to again.

If you want to taste a genuine Lebanese food like it's cooked in Lebanon this is the place to be.

Very tasty food, very similar to what you would eat in Lebanon. Make sure you go there hungry, you will be full easily if you want to taste everything. Good value for money

I thought it was a thoroughly pleasant establishment, good service, ambience etc but the food was just a bit average . I think with the amount of places we have to choosedf rom in London it would need to raise the stakes a bit for me to re-visit. Good value for money however.
