Description of Jamies - Bishopsgate
A restaurant somewhat hidden along the otherwise brash and vibrant rise of the Broadgate terrace and overlooking the fidgety Bishopsgate streets, Jamie's is well worth that bit of exploration. An interior both classic and contemporary, possessing both up to date style and timeless elegance is your surrounding in which to enjoy all kinds of modern European cuisine. Pick from the smoking unit or rotisserie always safe in the knowledge that the restaurant's menu will always reflect seasons and be constructed from produce sourced only from local suppliers. Summers at the restaurant are best spent unwinding on the terrace, sampling the wine list Jamie's prides itself on.

Great for Business lunch, Jamies is really nice and good lication. In the summer the terrace is lovely. Normally the service is really good but just this time wasn't great.
Food is good but for lunch the prices look better on your Business credit card.

Jamies is a perfect place for a catching up with friends over a bottle of wine and sharing the enormous platters after a busy day in the city. Quite quiet on the evening we were in there but can get very busy later in the week.

Nice food, good service and great to sit outside and watch the world go by over a glass of wine

Reception at the door of Jamies was warm and friendly. There is a buzz to the place as it is busy however no to an extent that is intimidating. The service was prompt and everyone was welcoming and helpful. Loved the food, althougt the Semillon Blanc was a little peppery. Will definitely go again

Perfect location for a city lunch outside in the sun as long as you aren't in any huge rush to get back to the office (which plenty of people with tables of booze obvioulys weren't) as service quite relaxed. Good choice of food.

I've been to Jamie's several times now and the food is always quite nice and very well presented. The service was good. Value for money is ok I guess given the quality of the food.

Jamies Bar and Restaurant on Bishopsgate offers a consistent high level of service and food quality. At times service can be slow due to the restaurant being busy during lunchtimes.

Went to Jamie's Bishopsgate for a work lunch (party of 10) and enjoyed great food and a relaxed atmosphere. The high ceilings, terrace and open front give the place a really spacious feel and the food is good value considering the sizeable portions. Definitely recommended for a work event.

Jamies in Bishopsgate has very nice food - not cheap for lunch but not too expensive either! Well worth a visit if you are in the city - and the service is very good.

Excellent and interesting food. Modern design. Very buzzy, good service. All in all a more than satisfactory experience

I've been to Jamies a few times before. The food is a little over priced. I tried the fish and chips, the fish was full of bones and rather oily, the portion of chips was really small with a side dish of mashed peas - a little expensive for the quality of the food. Nice on the terrace when the sun is out!

I thoroughly enjoyed my first visit to Jamies in Bishopsgate; Wasn't sure what to expect, as I had read mixed reviews, but was very impressed with the excellent food, great ambience and friendly service (and its not difficult to find!). Perhaps the music is a little loud, but then you wouldn't go to Jamies for a quiet intimate dinner. Twice cooked sticky beef is delicious! Will definitely be back.

Jamie's at Bishopsgate was a really ambient venue. Definitely one for celebrating a promotion or a dinner meeting. The staff were attentive and knew the wine list and food menu very well- our waiter was able to recommend certain items and had a good knowledge about wines, which was refreshing. I will definitely go back- we were the last to leave!!

Went there for lunch once again and had the excellent fish and chips with mushy peas - third time.!

I've been to Jamies many times. Their food and wine list is of consistent good quality. The large outdoor area is a suntrap which can enhance your lunchtime experience. Service can sometimes be slow which does not justify the service charge slammed on drinks but, if you are in a small group, overall Jamies is definitely worth an outdoor visit.
