Description of Jamies - Fleet Place
A restaurant somewhat hidden along the otherwise brash and vibrant rise of the Broadgate terrace and overlooking the fidgety Bishopsgate streets, Jamie's is well worth that bit of exploration. An interior both classic and contemporary, possessing both up to date style and timeless elegance is your surrounding in which to enjoy all kinds of modern European cuisine. Pick from the smoking unit or rotisserie always safe in the knowledge that the restaurant's menu will always reflect seasons and be constructed from produce sourced only from local suppliers. Summers at the restaurant are best spent unwinding on the terrace, sampling the wine list Jamie's prides itself on.

For a formal event or casual bash, Jamie's can cater for up to 250 guests for canapé style functions or up to 60 for a sit down meal. The downstairs bar has space for 20 seated or 100 for canapés. Visited Jamies on a Weds night, was pretty quiet inside but everything was clean and tidy. Service was pretty poor, near impossible to attract attention of the staff and the starter was brought out with the main courses for some bizarre reason. The food was pretty good for bar food, which is basically what it is, bit unfair to compare it to a real restaurant. Food was good value with the offer, but drinks expensive.

Jamies Fleet Place is good, nice now it's been done up inside. We had a booth table which was good for our lunch meeting, but the light was very bright which was a little offputting. Food was good quality though, good portions and the 50% off deal was very good. Is near the office so quite good for lunch, but the service is a bit slow and getting someone's attention for more wine and the bill took ages.

We have recommended Jamie's to a few friends since the first time we dined there. The highlight of the menu is the steak, which, after the half price offer is definitely one of the most value for money steaks around. The quality of the steak if as good as any of the top restaurants, and although Jamie's is classified as a wine bar, the food here is better than alot of restaurants. The waiting staff are very efficient,. Would recommend Jamie's to people who want great food at good prices.

Jamies - Fleet Places is a nice place for lunch on a weekday. Excellent value with toptable deal. Highly recommend the Sticky Beef (main).

Great dining as usual, cheap with 50% voucher I had. Only came to £36 for 4 people with drinks and main meal. Great service by our waitress.

Jamies at Fleet Place is a great mid week eaterie. Fast service and good food, perfect for a quick bite out at lunch.

Jamies, Fleet Place was a good lunch spot. Very nice Thai curry, friendly service and with a discount voucher, good value. Music perhaps a little loud for a more formal lunch meeting but a good atmosphere for less formal dining.

Jamie's at Fleet Place continues to provide good food and at fantastic value when using the 50% offer. We had the BBQ plates, and they were scrumptious. Too big to finish though!

I was surprised that I enjoyed our lunch at Jamies - I assumed, wrongly, that it would be much like eating at Pitcher and Piano or All Bar One but I was wrong. The service was good and the food was nice. Not wonderful but nice. The wine however was really expensive. I'm not sure how they can justify charging almost £8 for a glass of Beaujolais...

I'd definitely go back if I wanted a quick lunch somewhere near the office.

Food at Jamie's was good and service was quick although it was quite quiet esp. for 1o/c. Nice surprise when we got the bill as there was over £10 discount on a £40 bill.
Great place for a quick, reasonably priced lunch with friends.

Went to Jamies Fleet Place for birthday dinner celebrations with friends, the food was good but the service was slow. The restaurant was empty but it was a Monday. All in all an enjoyable evening, my only critiscm is that the service could be better. Excellent food and great value with the top table offer.

We had a very nice meal; the food was pretty outstanding and priced honestly! Unfortunately though the service was pretty poor and the cocktails were not good at all. If you are after food only then I highly recommend Jamies but if you are after a whole evening entertainment I suggest you go elsewhere.

Great place to nip in for the lunch hour, the BBQ selection looked delicious, however maybe a bit too much for a lunchtime meal!!!
all in all was pleasant.

Jamies - Fleet Place: Lovely food, really tasty and very good value with the 50% however the service was so slow! Only 2 waitresses and 1 bar staff and then 1 waitress went home leaving the other to cope. Not an overly busy place but just not enough staff!

Jamie's Fleet Place has been refurbished from it's previous life as Puzzle Bar, and is a smart, relaxed venue for lunch. Portions were generous and with the special offer of 50% off very good value. My friend had the twice-cooked sticky beef which was divine, big chunks of delicious beef and thick cut chips. I had the whole seabass which was lovely, but not very filling. Staff were very friendly although slow in birnging the bill. Overall, I would definitely go back - nice terrace outside too

I had haddock fishcakes, absolutely lovely. What a nice way to spend a Friday lunch hour.
