Description of Khaana
The laid back ambience is what sets Catford's Khaana apart from other South London restaurants. This Asian diner is sleek and contemporary with attractive mosaics glittering on the walls and modern fittings all round. The atmosphere is really helped by friendly staff and the treat-it-like-your-living-room policy. With wi-fi access free of charge, the cups of tea and coffee being supped over newspapers and the general low hum of conversation - this is plainly the hub of the local neighbourhood. The delicious menu of Pakistani, Kashmiri and Northern Indian cuisine gives an unusual Asian flavour with carefully spiced homestyle dishes which will just keep you coming back for more.

Khaana Reviews

The cuisine at Khaana is from Northern India and so slightly different flavours than expected. The prawn pakoras were made using batter mixed with herbs; the Fenugreek paratha was unusual and the aloo gobi cooked to perfection. A feast of flavours - and superb service too. I'll be going again!

It's great to have a restaurant like Khaana in Catford - I have lived there for 4 years and this is the first time I have actually socialised locally. The food was fabulous, very reasonably priced and beautifully presented and the service was great. It will be better as it gets busier and the toilets need a lot of improvement, but we will definately be back.

What a lovely surprise! We had a warm welcome and advice about what to choose from the menu... soo much temptation we could have been rolled out!! Service was really good and the food was fantastic! Hopefully with continued good reviews the restaurant will be much busier when we next visit. We are so happy to support local businesses, and to have this on our doorstep is brilliant! We will definitely be back as its excellent value for money, great portion sizes and tastes great!

Similar to the other reviews can't believe this place is on my doorstep. Not only was the food really good but really friendly service - which is a refreshing change! Highly recommended!

Rice especially good, and liked the way you could choose the strength of the curry.

Once again; an excellent evening, lovely food and in interesting 'fresh' white surroundings. Since my last visit ,the lighting has been attended to and now is subtle and attractive through Indian lanterns. I will be back there again!

We dined at Khaana,Rushey Green on Saturday. The food was beautifully cooked and the staff made us very welcome. The setting was very stylish, but we did ask them to turn the lighting down as it was very bright. They were happy to do so, and said their dimmer switches were not working. Our only other slight critisim was that the white wine needed to be chilled from the onset...again, they were very helpful and produced and ice bucket. We all agreed we will definately go again soon. A lovely pm!

what a pleasant surprise, just on my door step, recently opened. Fresh clean subtle decor, presentation, freshness and service of food, the customer service is a truley a blissful experience. Will definately recommend and go again. And they do take-aways and deliveries.
Value for money, yes definately

The restaurant had a simple, but bright feel to it, the music was nice, and the staff were very attentive. The food was fair, though the best thing about this experience was the bill-as it was very low considering the amount of different dishes we ordered.
