Description of KishmishA trendy modern take on traditional Indian cuisine in this light and airy Fulham Road restaurant. Specialities include regional Indian dishes as well as examples of the current vogue for Anglo-Indian food. An innovative menu with a mixture of old favourites and interesting and more unusual dishes on offer. What's cooking? Memsahib's lamb cutlets, Kachi lamb biriany, Country Captain (an Anglo Indian dish of chicken breasts braised with spices) as well as Tandoori and traditional dishes such as Rogan Josh, Madras and Korma curries.
I went with my boyfriend to the Kishmish on a Thursday evening and it was quite empty, but we didn't feel lonely or in the spotlight... As frequent with Indian restaurants, there were lots of staff around and so service was excellent. The food wasn't the best I'd had but still nice and very reasonably priced!

We always enjoy dining at Kismish. It serves great curry without the effort of having to go to Brick Lane!!! The waiting staff are attentive and always ready to assist you. The only thing was in the bathrooms it was very cold!

We went to Kishmish for my birthday, 12 people, absolutly delicious curry and value for money, great location, bit slow with service but a great night and complementary birthday cake!! Would highly recommend for large parties!!

Service at Kish Mish was a fanfare. Rarely have I visited an Indian restuarant where they served with such flourish. And it was for a good reason. The curries were rich in flavour and generous in portions. Not the cheap versions you find at Brick Lane, but classier and just as satistfying.

Dinner at Kishmish was good. Service was not overly friendly, but efficient. My only complaint (and this applies with most Indian restaurants) is that main meals have a great deal of sauce, but not a lot of substance (ie. meat). Three or four cubes of chicken is not enough. Dishes were however tasty.
