Description of Koba
The march of very, smart, modern and intriguing eastern restaurants in London continues apace with the arrival of Koba, handy for the Dominion, the British Museum, and all the booty of furniture-design-land around NoHo. Koba offers a lovely dining room with minimalist decor in a style that's very now. The Korean menu includes its speciality of table BBQ, as well as beautifully-presented dishes like Samsaek milssam(korean style wrapped pancakes with meat & vegetables stuffing) to start. Next go for the BBQ of Koba modeum gooi(grand assortment of meat, prawn & vegetables) or try something different such as yookhwei dolsot bibimbap(steam rice with raw beef & vegetables in a korean stone pot) or busut mandoo jeongol(mushroom casserole with dumpling & various mushrooms).

Koba's food is great, a good healthy alternative after all the Christmas eating and fun having it cook in front of you.

Koba is a great find. Fantastic meat selection, barbequed right in front of you. Always full of Korean people which is a good sign! Have been back twice already.

great venue for a different lunch, where your food is cooked at the table. For starters we had dumplings, pancakes. As mains we had a mixed bq platter, and a dish of beef and ribeye. Get the lettuce and condiments sidedish so that you can wrap the meat up! Extremely tasty. Highly recommend.

Koba, nice korean place, good atmosphere, good food, very original and not too noisy. Very good service and friendly waiters.

Koba is a gem - it's a little hidden away, but it's great fun to go with friends and go for the BBQ option. The meat arrives spiced but uncooked, and then it's cooked at the table on the grill - great fun, food is delicious for what you're paying & the service is pleasant.

I hadn't been to Koba for almost two years and I regret that I waited so long!
The food was excellent. Fresh, tasty and worth every penny.
