Description of Kym's
Kym's has placed an awning with a thick hedge of green between itself and the busy world, as if to create an oasis of greenery and calm for its guests. A Chinese restaurant specialising in Szechuan and Hunan cuisine, Kym's offers a warm welcome, an intimate atmosphere and attentive service. High praise is given to the double cooked pork and for vegetarians, the salt and pepper French bean. Massive menu made less daunting by the six set meals including vegetarian and pre-theatre. Very good wine list.

Kym's Reviews

Ate at Kym's last night with two colleagues for a 'working dinner'. Had the 'Kym's Special' Set Menu - all very nice, especially the crispy duck. Service was attentive and the wine list was good for a Chinese restaurant - 2004 Mersault and Montrachet both make it to the list! I would certainly recommend this place and happily go back.

Surprised by the nice setting inside. The fresh sea bass was a hit at the table. Very good value for money. We had a pre theatre dinner but ordered off the main menu. Food came very quickly. Will go back.

Location was perfect if you need to catch the theatre. Food portions were very small however, compared to what we would normally get in a Chinese restaurant. Food was OK, no complaints. Service was very fast and friendly.

I went to Kyms for pre theatre meal before seeing Wicked (which is amazing btw). The ambience in the restaurant was really nice and cosy, we chatted away as the waiter took our order and all the food came out in good time. Highly recommend the Kung Po Chicken. only downfall was the not so clear service charge added to your bill, watch out for the tiny little "SC".They didn't tell us it was included and when you go to pay by card the machine prompts you for a tip also. Bit cheeky!!
