I went to Le Bouchon Bordelais for my birthday and was not disappointed. Out of a group of 6, 5 of us had the steak which had to be the nicest i have ever had. The 6th person was a veggie and were surprised at the large number of dishes available. Although the service was a bit hap-hazard, the staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Le Bouchon Bordelais was simply outstanding! The best chateau Briand I have had in London and the nicest wine sommelier in the SW! The foie gras starter was excellent and the asparagus with truffle oil were delicious. I will defniitely be returning...as soon as possible...

Dropped in for Steak-Frites on a Thursday night -restaurant very quiet -poss. a reflection of the market turmoil?
Service was attentive and starters turned up promptly. Lovely oysters & interesting crab / bloody mary. Enjoyed both. We both had steak for main course: rib-eye and sirloin. Meat was fresh and cooked perfectly. The cheaper rib-eye was actually more tasty. Only niggle was anaemic looking fries.
Nice bottle of Malbec from a reduced winelist which is about to be relaunched.

We visited Le Bouchon on a Saturday night, as a local to the area I had been for a few drinks in the bar itself and had always planned a trip to the (well rated) restaurant. Service was excellent, food was superb and for a Saturday night experience, all generations on our table were thoroughly pleased!

We have been to Le Bouchon a few times before and this time again didn't disappoint. The Cote de Bouf was more than generous and the desserts were to die for. I especially like the choice of wines at Le Bouchon. Would thoroughly recommend.

Excellent French food. We had "steak frites", rouget, dorade and everything was really perfectly cooked. The waiter was very nice. However the service was very long, we had to wait more than 45 minutes between courses...But still, I would recommend it!

Went to Le Bouchon Bordelais on a fairly spur of the moment choice and was very pleasantly suprised. The food was excellent, especially the cote de boeuf, and service was great.

Le Bouchon Bordelais is a nice restaurant with a great buzzy ambience - cosy and atmospheric but not too loud.I had trouble making the 'greeter' understand that I had a booking for four and my name, but we seemed to get there in the end and our waitress was really helpful especially with one person who had an allergy.

I booked Le Bouchon Bordelais for my wife as a celebration for her new job.
We were dissapointed at having to wait for 45 minutes before our table became ready! However the manager was welcoming giving us a drink on the house.
The place has a great atmosphere and it must be said that although expensive the Cote De Beouf Steak was outstanding which we shared, enough to feed a small family.
Watch your steps walking down to toilets very strange layout which lead to my wife falling!!

We had a great evening - it's a lovely very busy restaurant so booking is essential. We had the chateaubriand which was to die for - it's not a cheap night out but you wont be disappointed. Starters can be hit and miss (mine was fab, my partners less so) but my pudding hit the spot. We'll definitely be going back.

We experienced mixed service at Le Bouchon Bordelais - mostly attentive but rather brusque at times. We enjoyed our steaks which were exactly as ordered, and the wines in particular were very good. The restaurant was let down by smelly toilets and overpriced spirits.
