We went to the Saint Julien for our team christmas lunch yesterday and all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
The best things about this restaurant was definitely the genuine french atmosphere. The meal took us about 3 hours from start to finish and we never felt rushed, as in most restaurants.
The food was very good, without being exceptional and was very goood value considering the 50% off top table offer.
I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Le Saint Julien was not cheap - but the quality of the food and service made it all worthwhile - very, very good. Would definitely return.

The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. You know that a French restaurant is good when French people eat there.

Very nice evening. Good ambience. Traditional French bistro in London. Good value with toptable offer. Would go back with or without the offer. Nice place.

We visited Le Saint Julien last night using the top table offer. Staff were very friendly and food very good, although not being a fan of foie gras, cheese or pate, the choice of starters were somewhat limited. Worth a visit while the half price offer is running, otherwise would be too expensive for what it is.

Second visit to Le Saint Julien under the TopTable 50% offer. Not disappointed. Food, ambience and service all up to scratch. Cheese plate particularly yummy. Will return and would recommend to others.

Le Saint Julien was a lovely evening out. The food was great, my lamb main was particularly tender with a fantastic red wine sauce. I would describe the restaurant's ambience as very cozy and almost intimate. Service was good, helpful and unobtrusive. Wine selection could be better. I didn't use the toilets, so I'm afraid I don't have an opinion there. Missed out on a 9 or 10 out of 10 due to the fact that some people might find it a little too expensive, but if you've got the cash, recommended.

Despite being the start of the Christmas Party session and a packed restaurant Le Saint Julien provided a very good service over lunch. An authentically french brasserie on the edge of the city is a real bonus. Special starter of gravalax and steak cooked to perfection made for a very enjoyable meal especially with the TopTable deal. Looking forward to the next visit, will definitely recommend.

I would recommend Le Saint Julien to anyone, the food was beautifully cooked, especially the fish dishes (trout, salmon and seabass). The atmosphere was relaxed, with the waiters being very helpful. The meal was very good value for money with the Toptable offer although definitely out of my student price range!

We had a lovely meal at Le Saint Julien last night using the 50% off food deal. The steak was very well cooked, however I was disappointed that they had taken the snails out of the shell ! This is half the fun. Great ambience, and very good service.

Another great meal in this cosy restaurant... 50% off deal make it even better.

Le Saint Julien - been there a few times and always go back with pleasure. Very good venue to have a relaxed meal and a good chat with friends. No pressure to leave or rush to order. A little corner of France in the middle of London where food and comfort take precedence over everything else.

The St Julien eez zo French you could be in Paris. Food is excellent, with new twists on traditional French dishes, service was charming and attentive even though they were very busy with a huge City party of French bankers. It's not cheap but who minds paying if it's this good? I wouldn't hesitate to go again. It's not got quite the cachet or the ambience of Cafe du Marche over the other side of Smithfield but as an informal brasserie type restaurant it beats most other restaurants in the area.

I love Le Saint Julien. The staff are great and make you feel special and most welcome. The food is excellent and at the offer price a real bargain. Great for a casual or more formal venue. It is not very big and sometimes you can get "involved" in the conversation on the next table. I'll certainly be back very soon.

Le Saint Julien has become one of our favourite lunchtime restaurants. It is busy and bustling but the service is always friendly and attentive. Food is excellent and brilliant value with the Toptable 50% off deal.

I have visited Le Saint Julien several times and it never fails to disappoint. The food is simply marvellous! The half price offer makes something that would otherwise be out of my budget a real affordable luxury!
Highly recommended.

Pleasant surroundings, well prepared food and friendly service. We were a little bit hurried to leave for the table to be re-set for the next visitors, but then we were accommodated at short notice as a group of 8 fairly close to Christmas so we can't really complain. Recommended.

Brasserie Le St Julien is a good eatery near Smithfield. It is usually quiet and the service attentive without being unctuous. A favourite for some time it is really for lovers of good French wine. Dishes vary in quality but the specials are very good always.

I had a dinner in Le Saint Julien last night with few of my friends. II had snails for a starter and steak and both were fantastic. Service was also very good. With toptable special offer - excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend.
