Description of Lebanese Lounge
So Brick Lane is full of nothing but curry houses? Not so. Tucked away off the main road is a den of Arabian hospitality called Lebanese Lounge where the warmth of the welcome comes as a lovely shock from the hectic coldness of the City. On one side is a formal yet homely dining room - dressed tables, plain walls, ambient lighting. And on the other a traditional Arabic lounge room - warm colours, couches and cushions, shiny metal tea sets - where you can puff on hubbly bubbly in between mint teas. A tempting variety of traditional dishes are on offer, from mezza and pastries to generous mixed grills. Or try something new and ask for the dish of the day. Whatever you order, expect to be well looked after.
