Description of Loch Fyne
One of a small chain of restaurants specialising in oysters and sea food, serving home smoked produce and oysters harvested from their own beds. Wherever possible, the ingredients used in their dishes are sourced from free range, sustainable or wild resources and come direct from the shores, local hills or smokehouse on Loch Fyne. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal and the food simply prepared. The menu is not set out in the usual 'starter, main course, pudding', but allows you to choose whatever you fancy and in whatever order. What's cooking? Light dishes such as smoked salmon or oysters, home-made soups, mussels (when in season), hot pies, deep fried king scallops, shellfish or lobster platters.

Loch Fyne Reviews

The food was up to the usual very good loch fyne standard. We ordered from the set menu and the selection on offer was better than some other set menus I've seen! The waiting staff were a little on the abrupt side but the food and wine was very good.

The new set menu with glass of wine is excellent value.

Loved Loch Fyne. Seafood lovers should come here! The selection of seafood and fish is delightful and reasonably priced. Service was excellent. A real treat and affordable too.

Another trip - this time with my dad that was visiting. Excellent food and service as usual. We did also used the 11 gbp 2 course meal + glass of wine voucher, which made this experience extramely good for value for money.

One only suggestion I would reccomend is to change the menu more often: some of the dishes were very much similar to the last time we came over (2 months ago).

Dining at Loch Fyne at Twickenham was a great experience though the vegetables on the special menu were different to what arrived, I guess the special was popular that night, though it would of been nice to of been given an option. The fish was faultless

Disappointing (and we eat there a lot). It was very busy, the service was slow....

Overall a very good meal. Good quality fresh seafood and nice wine list and not exhorbitant prices. Sure portions used to be a little larger at this place (salad and breads in particular). Recommended.

The Loch Fyne restaurant was very busy and the service was a little slow - but the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The food was superb; simple, high quality ingredients beautifully prepared. We will certainly return and would recommend this restaurant to all fish lovers.

Another excellent meal with superb service. The fish soup was tasty and creamy and the game pate with onion relish so tasty it would have made a good light lunch.
