The food at Luciano is very nice and tasty. Where else can you get a 10oz steak cooked to perfection as part of a Toptable deal? The low level lighting was much too 'low' for us to see what we were eating! We are still waiting for the mustard we requested to eat with our steak.
Apart from that, it was near perfect.

This is not a place that anyone can go to. The very sexy and provocative photo art along one side of the restaurant mean that this is a very good place to take a date or partner etc and allow him to face that wall! The atmosphere is quite subdued. Service was technically good but felt that it was a bit fake. Food good value with the offer but it certainly would be a special eve out if you were to go a la carte....Overall,different to other restaurants in St James, worth trying on the offer...

Luciano - Marco Pierre White
Good food, Pork Belly was great. Deserts a bit on the small size. Service was confusing, but everyone very friendly and tried hard to please. Good wine list. Would go back.

Throughly enjoyed! Excellent value for money. Portions are a great size and the food was delicous. The pork belly and tiramisu were so tasty! Staff were relatively friendly and attentive without being snotty once we chatted to them and they opened up a bit. We were there for 3 hours and never made feel like we had to leave. it did lack a little ambience as it was quiet enough (tuesday evening) but overall we really enjoyed it and would definitely return.

After reading a previous review about the service being poor at Luciano, we were very pleasantly surprised. The waiting staff were very professional
and attentive. If anything, the food came out too quickly!
The food was wonderful and the choice on the special offer menu was really good. We both had a 10 oz steak for main which came with chips, my only criticism is that it could have done with less chips and some salad instead as it was very rich.
We were definitely glad we chose Luciano.

what a fab space, bar, and piano too! loved the decor-reminded me of a new york hot spot from the 80s, but not too full, and unfortunately, the service not as quick as a new york hotspot. also thought the menu descriptions were a bit vague. ordered spaghetti with lobster, but was pleasantly surprised when a lobster in the shell appeared, as i was expecting small pieces. the staff were a bit clueless on the typical lobster tools, but the dishes were succulent and we thoroughly enjoyed the night.

We visited Luciano's 6.30 on a friday and received a lovely warm welcome however that didnt continue once we were seated. Our waiter was rather surly giving me the impression our TT staus was rather beneath him. Although he did warm up it did detract somewhat from an otherwise excellent dining experience. The food was delicious, good value and there was a very reasonably priced wine list too. Dont leave without having the tiramissu! Overall I would be happy to return.

A brilliant TT deal. Great set menu choice, buzzy atmosphere and very attentive service without being intrusive. Food and wine were delicious. Despite having an early reservation we were not hurried from the table. Highly recommend it.

It is definititely worth taking the toptable deal to eat at Luciano's, however it seems that the credit crunch has really hit as we were only one of four other couples eating in the large restaurant at 8pm on a Friday night.

Luciano - I was pleasantly surprised with the size of the portions. The TT offer menu contained a reasonable amount of variety and the standard of service was very good. Will definitely be going back.

On a cold Monday evening on Dec 1st our visit to Luciano's was a real treat. Not many in but thoughtful seating made it fell quite cosy. Food was excellent, generous portions helped us to feel the pricing was OK. Compared to some of the mediocre and worse you get for not much less, it was a very worthwhile experience and I certainly hope to return.

Our meal at Luciano was fabulous. Beautifully cooked tuna and fab sweets. We were well looked after and recieved a free Martini at the end of the meal which was very welcome! The decor left much to be desired with women in bondage and whips and breasts everywhere-not somewhere to take the in-laws shall we say! Two courses and a prossecco for £17 was great value and we would recommend the champagne cocktails if you are feeling extravagant! A fab evening. Well done top table and Luciano

This has to be the best value meal in London. Excellent food - well prepared - attentive and friendly staff and very pleasant ambience. I'd certainly go again and again.

Our meal at Luciano-Marco Pierre White was just wonderful. We were early and the greeting was a little tepid, but this was more than made up for in the dinner. We ate early and were the only diners for some time, so it was difficult to assess the ambience. When other diners arrived there was a nice atmosphere. The Tuna steak was done to perfection and the lemon tart is to die for.We will return.

The food at Marco Pierre White's Luciano Restaurant was excellent. My only criticism would be that the waiters' although all very young have obviously been trained to behave in a very cold and stuffy way which is not at all relaxing nor does it create a nice atmosphere.

I was impressed that I'd mentioned my daughter's birthday in the booking and they did take the trouble of making sure she had a nice birthday surprise without any prompting from me on the night.

Luciano's is a great setting with excellent food however the general service and eye contact could be improved.

The thing I liked the most about the Marco Pierre White's venue was the piano singer, she was the amazing.
