Description of Millbank Lounge Bar
Tucked away on the unique Art Street, this opulent and capacious lounge bar, complete with 10 metre-long bar, must be one of London's better kept secrets amongst the cocktail cognoscenti, celebrities, and the local Westminster political set. It's easy to see why - the place is gorgeous! The modern European bar menu ranges from classic British comfort food in the day, such as Brixham fish and chips, to mezze-style dishes in the evening, many priced at £4.50. Known for its mules, Millbank Lounge Bar offers six interpretations of this classic combination of vodka and ginger beer. Of course, there's always the wine, and a particularly fine set of whiskies. Funky tunes come courtesy of DJ Tom Roberts every Thursday and Friday from 7pm. For that extra special evening , book a booth (they fit two to six) or the vibrant red section, furnished with generous ruby sofas...

Millbank Lounge Bar Reviews

I would recommend this as a smart bar to drink in but the food choices were limited. The quality of the food was good but it is a very casual environment for dining e.g. low tables. The City Cafe restaurant downstairs looks like the better option for dining.

Excellent once again, except it was a bit cold in the bar today.

The Millbank Lounge Bar was very quiet on a Saturday lunch time but I can imagine it's buzzing in the evenings. The staff were very helpful and gave our feedback to the chef when we complained that the whitebait was way too salty. They offered us a complimentary drink by way of an apology, but we were ready to go by then. However, it was appreciated. Very comfortable and modern decor - definitely a place to come for an after work drink.

Millbank is a terribly relaxing and aesthetic establishment in a bit of a backwater. The menu was a bit limited (and the herbal teas were off) but good value. The wine list was also reasonably priced. The manager was absolutely charming, but his staff left a bit to be desired, and were rather vacant. The conveniences were exceptional, and I would certainly recommend it overall.

The Millbank Lounge Bar has a great vibe. The only problem is that service is incredibly slow so unless you have a few hours (and are not very hungry) it's not a practical lunch venue. The food was good when it arrived except the fries that were overdone.

This is a nice "hotel" style bar with nice music in the background and funky decor. Short but decent wine list and the food (we had small starters to share) was nice. Unfortunately a piece of chicken wasnt cooked through, however they were very appologetic and gave us 25% off our bill. A shame for what would have been a top evening

Millbank Lounge Bar is a great place for a business meeting. Be sure to book one of the booths in advance.

I took a client for a quick bite to eat during lunch and was dissapointed as we waited 50 mins for our Chickean Caeser Salad and Hamburger to be deliverd. Dont go here if you are in a rush to get get anywhere
