Description of Rebato's
Rebato's has a style all its own, something like a classic Spanish dining club right here in London. At busy mealtimes, you'll hear a mixture of Spanish and English, both from the clientele and the staff. At the front of house, there's a buzzing tapas bar -- one of the first in the capital, while beyond lies the dining room proper, with old-style grandeur: tiled floor, plants, and skylights. Favourite dishes almost always include the fish of the day, and the roast suckling pig. There's a massive choice of appetizers to tempt you, as well as the interesting wine list. Great service, too.

Rebato's is the best Spanish restarant in South London. Food was great. I am looking forward to going back with a few tapas and a bottle of wine in the front bar.

Rebato's is a lovely little Tapas place on South Lambeth Road. It's lovely what you find behind the front door - but certainly not what you expect from the outside! we had a lovely meal - although the selection for vegetarian's is a bit limited, the food was good. The very amusing live guitarist playing all those favorites from Benidorm 1982 only served to enhance the great vibe. Desserts from a trolley wheeled to our table really topped off our night! great value for money.

Walk thro the heaving tapas Bar to the main restaurant at Rebato's with a warm welcome from the staff. Friendly waiters with slick service. My skate was excellent and the fish stew & veal were also highly commended as were the starters - baby squid with garlic & chilli particularly good - & the puds. With a bottlle of house red the bill for 3 was £71 - great value. Definitely go again. Richard Lawrence

Rebato's is a charming, old fashion local restaurant with a 1970's charm. The service is attentive, and I love the way they wheel the sweet trolley over to your table at the end of the meal, it makes pudding very hard to resist! A nice place to go on a date or with a group of friends.

Great local place for good food - if you like fish and meat, thats the place. Don't come with vegitarian friends...

Fish dishes were really tasty! The restaurant is big enough which marries chic with medditeranean taste. Very professional service.

Rebato's is a very nice restaurant with friendly staff and great food.
We had the tapas at lunch time 3 tapas plus desert for just under £13 and share the 6 tapas between the two of us. The tapas were very good and by the end of the meal we were both very full!
Service was amazing, we received the food very quickly.
Great place to check out if you are in the area.

great service but starter were cold and received main course less than 5 mins after we finished our starter. In and out in 45 mins. Not my idea of a nice meal out

I have been coming here for nearly 10 years and the restaurant never fails to impress everyone i bring. This time it was a party of 10 including guests from New York. for 3 courses and drinks at the bar and at the table the bill came to around £35 a head, This is the closest i can compare to the family run neighbourhood restaurants i have been to in New York.

Good deal - 3 courses for £24.99. Food very good. Recommend the paella. Service okay, bit slow at times and the lighting was abit too dim. Apart from that, an enjoyable night.

This is a hidden gem in the up and coming neighbourhoods of Vauxhall & Lambeth. Behind a little inviting closed front one finds an excellent treat for lovers of Spanish Tapas and proper Imperial Spanish Dining... Excellent food, wine and beer.. a good night out with friends!

Possibly the best Spanish restaurant in London. The real deal.
