Description of Reef
The old fashioned British fish supper is enjoying a renaissance thanks to cool, contemporary restaurants such as Chiswick's Reef. The latest venture from the team behind the ever popular Annie's and Rock and Rose, Reef is putting the fashion back in to fish. In the perfect spot for Grove Park locals, Reef offers a hint of glamour, from the sleek exterior complete with door flanking palms to the fabulous chandeliers and red toned interior. Not to mention a young, fresh crowd and not a greasy hairnet in sight. The short but tempting menu includes that classic battered fish but also everything from oysters to fish pie and Goan fish curry.

Sunday lunch at Reef means no need to worry about dinner! We had the Battered Cod with chips and mushy peas - a massive serve and really delicious. No room for dessert unfortunately. Love the decor. Our waitress could have been a bit friendlier. Oh, and please get a brighter light globe in the toilet!

Reef was completely full, but it was Saturday night. Service was good, and the food was excellent and good portions - we liked the fact that there were a couple of choices apart from fish. This restaurant has had many guises since it was Christian's, but seems to have finally found its rightful owner. Long may it last

One of my party recognised and was recognised by the manager immediately on entry from another establishment.

Service wa attentive and we were given a lot of time to make our decisions. The place restaurant was very busy yet we felt that they were looking after, and it gave my party a chance to engage in their conversation which is what we look forward to.
I did not use the toilets and therefore I do not comment.
A member of my party said she would be going there very soon with her friend

The menu at Reef is not huge - specialises in fish with a couple of alternatives, and everything seems fresh and well presented. The decoration is eclectic - typical of Annie, who has another 3 or 4 establishments - and the service is efficient, friendly and professional.
