Description of Savoro
Savoro restaurant, just outside High Barnet in Hadley Green, is a beautifully-designed neighbourhood restaurant offering fab modern European food with an Asian twist. The atmosphere is sophisticated but relaxed and the cooking is based on fresh, seasonal and respectfully-treated ingredients. For starters, indulge in the langoustine pithivier with Jerusalem artichoke, black truffle and bisque. Follow with slow-roasted rump of lamb served with vitelotte mash potato, roast garlic and redcurrant jus, but save room for gorgeous puds like pannetone and raisin ice-cream.

Overall we were extremely impressed by Savoro. Although quite hard to find (tucked behind the Jag garage) once inside we had a brilliant experience! The staff were attentive and couldnt do enough for you. My girlfriend suffers with an egg allergy and they were more than happy to make another sauce with her steak ( which she said was one of the best steaks she has eaten!)

Excellent value for money, and would definately go there again! Looking forward to try their Sunday Lunch!

Savoro, Barnet. Very good but partner unhappy with salmon main course served in deep bowl. This combined with the low seating made her uncomfortable with elbows high in the air! A flat plate would have been far better and more comfortable. There can be no good reason to seve salmon in a pasta bowl. Otherwise little to fault.

This was our first visit to Savoro. Everything was excellent. The food was superb, service was friendly and efficient and the ambience was perfect. We had the feeling that they really want to make the dining experience as good as it can be. We were made to feel like welcome guests. Over the years, we have been to many restaurants via Top Table. Savoro is probably the best of them all.

Another throughly excellent family lunch at Savoro. Pumpkin soup with Indian spices and coconut foam was superb, followed by an exemplary sirloin steak and hand-cut pommes allumettes - not bad for £10.50 a head. The service as always added to the pleasure of the cuisine. I have never been disappointed by Savoro and it continues to surprise and delight me with its first-class cooking. Warmly recommended.

Our experience of Savorno could not have been more enjoyable.
The menu for £10.50 was fantastic value and each course was beautifully presented, cooked to perfection and complimented with fine wine. We look forward to returning again next week
In our opinion for quality and value, it must rate the best in Herts. and possibly North London as well, We shall certainly recommend it to relatives and friends who may not have noticed it due do its set back location.

I love Savoro but my mother in law was disappointed with the fish pie. The ambiance is fantastic and the service wonderful. I think it's great value for money. I'll certainly be back even if my mother in law doesn't come with me!

Inspite of it being a saturday before Xmas and the Savoro being very busy the food and service was very good

Savoro was a bright buzzy restaurant. The food was good but not exceptional, service excellent and not rushed. The menu was little unimaginative but definately worth a second visit.

Savoro in Barnet is a real gem. I discovered this restaurant on Toptable despite having lived in the area for the last 15 years. The £10.50 lunch menu is excellent value. We had a 2.30 booking and left at 4.30. The staff were delightful, the food excellent and I can't recommend it highly enough.

Sovoro Restaurant with Rooms is set back off the main road to give it quaint feel. The ambience as we entered was very appealing with the comfort of the chairs and stylish decor enhanced by some gentle jazz. The waiter didn't mind at all when we asked for tap water and was friendly and helpful throughout. The starters were immaculately presented: warm goats cheese and chicken liver pate on melba toast. The main special was roast beef and we also had steak - deliciously leaving us wanting more.

My wife had been training all morning so she loved relaxing in the quietness of Savoro for lunch. Two course lunch offer was wonderful. One of High Barnet's gems continues to sparkle.
