I picked Seafresh fo a quick bite pre-theatre and it fitted the bill perfectly. The service was friendly and efficient, although at 6pm they weren't exactly rushed off their feet. The food was excellent, unpretentious and well-cooked. The cod showed no hint of dryness, and the batter was floaty light. There is no attempt to hide this restaurant's identity as a smart chippy, and it excecutes the brief perfectly. Definitely a hit for quick meals.

The food was of good quality for traditional fish and chips - decent but not refined. Fish and chips is what it is. The prices are inflated compared to your average chippy, but then the clean decor and neutral ambience makes up for it. I chose it to take a group to have a fish and chips experience in a slightly sanitised decor. It did the trick, and service for a group of eight was good, items arrive promptly and we were left free to linger at our table as long as we wanted.

The Seafresh restaurant may not be the cheapest fish and chips you have eaten and for a "fish" restaurant try elsewhere, but for a fish and chip restaurant, this is the plaice. Service was friendly and efficient. Food was hot and well presented. The grilled halibut special was excellent. Recommended.

The restaurant was brilliant. On a monday nite...there were locals in the place and the best thing was the fish was fresh. The chips were just right, they were the right size, fried to till crispy on the outside and just soft on the inside. The Sea Bream on was served to perfection, to my specification. The service not overbearing, but polite. I would recommend this to anyone who would like to take friend for a good english fish and chips. It helps the Take away is nextdoor.

I had the best Rock & Chips for 40 years in Seafresh Restaurant:fresh & succulent in thin crispy batter, no gap or soggy layer between the fish & the batter. The chips were first class, tasty & not soggy or fatty. My husband went for the catch of the day, halibut that he chose grilled with new potates & a side order of veg. The waitress forgot to order his fish soup, but she was so apologetic & to be honest he wouldn't have had room for it. Bit pricey but would go back again and recommend it.

Seafresh is indeed a no frills fish and chip restaurant. I had the scallops which were very tasty in a garlic and white wine sauce. Despite a strong smell of vinegar, the ambiance was comfortable and chatty and the service was attentive and swift. My only comment woudl be that the prices were quite high considering the meal was merely fish and potatoes. Vegatables etc must be ordered as a side. However the fish was cooked well and our meals were tasty.
