Sherlock Holmes Bar and Grill - although the menu wasn't extensive the choice was still varied enough and the food was well presented, good sized portions and tasty.

Sherlock's is always great value on toptable deals. I took a colleague who was very impressed........

We had a great time at Sherlock's Bar & Grill. It's a really lovely, cosy place to eat out in Winter as they have fireplaces in both the bar and restaurant. The food and service were both excellent. My only gripe is that we weren't allowed to sit at the table by the fire as 'it was a four seater' and we were a party of two, despite being the last booking. We were also not allowed to sit further in as those 'would be laid for breakfast' shortly (at 9-30pm).Thus we were stuck at a table next to the till

Excellent food, beautifully presented though the main (lamb) was meagre in proportion for the price. Attentive service from thoroughly nice staff. Disappointing lack of Sherlock theming which was the main reason for our visit. AF

We had a good meal at Sherlock's Bar and Grill on Saturday night but it was only good value with the 50% offer available. The restaurant was busy so although the staff were pleasant they were a bit slow serving us . The food was well prepared and good but the menu wasn't vast.
We would consider returning but only with the offer available.

Sherlock Holmes has a very pleasant restaurant. The food is interesting and good value. The service is friendly.

Sherlock's Bar & Grill does lovely food. I would have been disappointed were I paying full price, however. I was not expecting this place to be part of a hotel, which detracts from the ambience in my opinion. I cannot fault the service, though.

At Sherlocks the food was amazing and after a shakey start (getting confused with reagrds to our booking etc) the service was great. They catered well for some of our dietary requirements and were friendly.

Despite the fact that this was the week before Christmas, the atmosphere at Sherlock's Bar and Grill was relaxed - no loud music or raucous office parties. Perfect for our catch-up with long-unseen friends as there was lots of talking to do.
Food choice was good, including a 3-course Christmas menu, and some less-usual dishes like roast pheasant. Everyone enjoyed what they had, and with 25% off the food that night, we thought it was great value for London.

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed Sherlock Bar and Grill. It was a good find for a Saturday lunch and with the 50% off the food bill, it was good value for money. The portions were slightly small, adequate.

Had a great evening ... excellent staff - the table where not in a good location - very drafty from the open door out to the bar area and the entrance door. Food tasty and well presented. Desserts outstanding.

food distinctly average unfortunately - ok for pub grub. my pidgeon start was dry and over cooked but the steak and chips were ok.

Sherlock's Bar and Grill is a great place to go if you fancy a good quality steak. Great decor too really sets the scene.

Kate Hughes reviewed Sherlocks Bar & Grill on 25/11/2008

Was a bit dissapointed that it was a hotel restuarant - and it had that hotel bar feel to it, rather than a restuarant ambience. However, the service was very good, the wine was nice, the food was delicious, and the servings were large. With the 50% off toptable deal it was good value.

Sherlock's Bar & Grill is lovely little place, hidden away from most. The lounge area is great for drinks.

Sherlock's Bar & Grill - good location around the corner from Baker Street station; nice bar and the restaurant had a relaxed atmosphere; food was good (especially the onion breads) and with the toptable 50% offer very well priced
