Description of Singapore Garden
A firm favourite throughout its North London neighbourhood since it was born in 1984, Singapore Garden is attractive by name, attractive by nature. Light, bright and modern, the decor ticks most of the thumbs-up boxes with a fast, friendly service to match. The food, a mix of generously portioned Malaysian and Singaporean favourites such as best-sellers laksa and kuay pie tee. At £7 for two courses, or £8.50 for three, the set lunch menus are a bit of a bargain. Add to that a constant cosmopolitan buzz and it becomes clear why wealthy, well-known individuals such as Lennox Lewis, Atomic Kitten and Emma Bunton choose to wine and dine here on occasion.

We visited the Singapore Garden as a group of ex-English Singapore ex-pats and had a fantastic meal.

The staff were very accomodating despite a number of the party arriving at different times.

The food was fantastic and the crab was especially good considering the prices. I would definitely dine here again and will come back to try more of the interesting dishes on the menu

An extremely friendly welcome at Singapore Garden was followed by great wine and a mixed bag of food. I didn't care for the meatball dumplings but the chilli prawns, scallops in black bean sauce and ginger chicken were all delicious.

The place was packed and atmosphere very jolly.

Singapore Garden offers delicious authenic Southeast Asian cuisine and hawker's fare with good value for money. The menu is extensive and unpretentious and stays true to good wholesome Singaporean flavour without giving in to 'westernising' it to suit the trend. Ambience is modern and light with a hint of eastern flare and service is efficient and prompt. Would definitely recommend it for a true taste of Singapore and the orient.

We went to Singapore Garden last night, and we were impressed with the very good quality. As a first impression I really liked the ambiance, the lighting and the decor. We ordered 2 prawn dishes with rice and starters. Decent prices for food. The food was great, and I was very impressed with the large vegetarian choice - a whole section for beancurd food, including "mock prawns" !
Only thing, we though £5.45 service charge and £3.90 for a bottle of water was a bit too much...

Excellent food and overall experience, one of the best chinese restaurants I've ever been too and it's right on my doorstep! Fab! Definately will be visiting here again

The Singapore Garden is our 'local'. We can be sure of a good meal, well served at a reasonable price and we can either have a quick evening meal or take our time.JW

Singapore garden. Being coming here from time to time for 15 years. Food remains very good but might not return because of the service - plates collected before all at finished the course. On the second time I complained and they did apologise.

I visited Singapore Garden on Friday with my sister and really enjoyed my Singapore noodles, however my sisters Prawn and Scallops with glass noodles was covered in a really greasy slimey sauce and tasted pretty bad. Service was good.

This is a great restaurant with good food and service. The menu has certain interesting items not generally available elsewhere. The ambience and lighting are good. The staff are knowledgable, always polite and very helpful

I really enjoyed the dinner in Singapore Garden...really good food, pleasant service and the restaurant was packed, given it was mid week. Always a good sign. Only the wine selection was a bit pricey, otherwise it was great.

Singapore gardens is tucked away in the heart of Swiss Cottage. The food is excellent and very tasty. Once we had finished the starters the main course came pretty quick, but would have loved that little extra time to digest the starters. I didn't ask so maybe that could have been arranged. The cocktails are made extremely well and reasonalby priced. It's the second time I have been and would definately go again.

I enjoyed a lovely evening with my group of girlfriends at Singapore Garden. We all ordered the same dish (Singapore Laksa) which was lovely. However, while it had quite a lot of prawns it did lack in fishcake and vegetables. The restaurant was lovely. The service attentive - too attentive in fact. We were asked at least half a dozen times if we wanted to order pudding in order to rush us out. An aside, the restaurant does provide toilets for people with disabilities... filled with chairs!!!

I thought Singapore Gardens was good, however, I thought the staff rushed us some.
