Description of Sitaaray
Sitaaray combines India's two greatest exports - cinema and food - and presents them in a fabulously fun setting that's as glamorous as a Bollywood film set. Both ground and mezzanine levels are theatrical spaces of smouldering red walls filled with unique Indian cinema memorabilia, and eclectic lighting that reflects the 75-year evolution of Hindi filmmaking. Everywhere are the much-loved faces of movie legends. Arguably, the real star is the food. Lunch offers 'box office' favourites of popular Indian food, while at dinner, eat as much as you like - dosas, tandoor specials, kebabs, curries - for a set price. A brand new restaurant industry blockbuster.

Additional information for Sitaaray
Individually themed booths with LCD screens showing clips of big screen legends make group dining a lot of fun. An impressive wine list assembled by expert Tim Atkins is complemented by a playful cocktail menu. Free parking for all guests in Drury Lane NCP below the premises.

Sitaaray Reviews

Sitarray was a very pleasant restaurant experience. Firstly the food was excellent in flavour and extremely freshly cooked and drinks were also generously portioned; secondly the service was very attentive and polite and not at all overbearing or irritating. Finally we loved the atmosphere, the Bollywood photos and decor offered a special Indian experience. For a family with Indian roots, we would definitely go back and recommend. With or without the special offer, Sitarray was excellent value

sittary was a nice experiance, friendly staff but don't think i would go without the tops table deal,r bill still seemed a lot as the drinks r expensive,£3.75 4 a glass of poor condition diet coke, not good.the food was good and the bollywood interesting.

The Monday night 50% off the food was great value and allowed us another bottle of good wine!
The food was excellent and the service was very friendly!
Loved the Bollywood feel of the place.

Will be back!

Sitaaray provided good service and food. However without any special deals the "normal" price of 80 pounds for two set price menus with coffee and three glasses of the second cheapest red wine was poor value. Whilst the house wine being over 21 pounds with the automatically included service charge would imply a restaurant of much better quality and wine. Being pursued by phone for credit card details prior to arriving jarred and such establishments normally dissapoint on value for money.

We booked Sitaaray for New Year Eve. The waiters were charming and polite the restaurant, colourful and quirky. My son's not very adventurous when it comes to trying something different. Bonus, he enjoyed the set menu as much as me.

A group of 4 of us had a lovely lunch at Sitaaray. The decoration is interesting and we loved the cosy booth type feeling. We had the set menu and being vegetarian I was fully catered too. The group meal for the 3 others looked small but was ample. Would definitely recommend!

Sitaaaray. Dined here with my husband pre theatre. Had the "unlimited curries and kebab -30% off" special offer. Food was lovely and it was nice to have the "surprise" of such a wide selection of dishes continuously being brought to the table. Service was excellent. Bollywood ambience was fun and interesting. Would definitely go here again.

Four of us went to Siaaray for a pre-christmas meal. Food was excellent but over priced. We all had the unlimited kebabs menu, in fact we weren't offered an alternative! We ate as much as we could and had 1 beer each which came to £35 per head inc. service. Food was great, but overpriced.

Great toptable deal at Sitaaray, with the 50% off the buffet, so only pay £11.50 for the all you can eat set menu. Lots of variety (if not vegetarian) and could ask for more of your favourites, (you did feel slightly awkward asking for thirds though). Drinks on the expensive side £3 for a coke but all in all a very enjoyable eve and would be a great venue for a large group.

Sitaaray provided us with an excellent night out. A fun and glamourous Bollywood style setting with curteous and efficient staff. The food is excellent and with the deal of 30% off the all you can eat curry's the food was therefore a bargain at £16 each! However the wine is where the restaurant makes its money, the only downside are the extortionate drinks prices.
Even with the extortionate drinks prices I still would recommend Sitaaray anyday!
