Great choices on the menu, had lamb stew on a bed of mashed aubergine which was the chief's favorite. The lamb was very tender, Friends had leaf wrapped sea bass and was not too impressed. Venison leg was prepared nicely. Dessert menu was impressive with authentic choices, e.g. milk pudding and Tahini ice-cream.
However........ both men and lady's toilets were freezing cold; waiters were not smart enough to pour our water once glasses arrived nor did they topped our wine during the meal.

We went to Sofra and had the crunch menu. The complimentary bread and humus was delicious. Bread was still warm which is great when the weather outside is so cold.
A wide range of main course to choose from. We had the lamb tagine, the venison leg steak and the duck tagine. They were all delicious and huge portion!! great! With a free glass of wine or beer or soft drink, it is even better value for money.
highly recommended.

Friendly staff and good food and a good price. Excellent service, although perhaps a little too fast as a little extra time to digest between courses would have been good!

We had the Christmas menu and were really impressed - esecially by the starters - an individual plate of 9 starters each all of which were delicious. The restaurant was busy but the atmospere & service was still good .

Sofra - Covent Garden was good. Service was prompt considering it was a busy new years eve with 15 at our table. Unfortunately one of the mains on our chosen set menu was not available but overall the food was ok and it was an enjoyable evening.

Food service was extremely slow and untimely. Customer service made up for it as not only did they take off service charge but gave complimentary bottles of wine and hot drinks after dessert.

Sofra is always a treat. This time we had a light lunch with humous, bread and olives. Excellent value with attentive service. Recommended.

Sofra Covent Garden - pre theatre meal - very friendly and efficient service and good selection of vegetarian dishes for my wife. Ambience suffered a little from our table being right next to the service area but overall enjoyable and would certainly go again.

I went to Sofra in Covent Garden on 23 December, with 4 mates. Given that it was a very busy time and we'd had a few drinks beforehand (!), the service was great - all the staff were very friendly and relaxed, just as you'd find in Turkey... The food (we had their set Xmas menu no. 2) was really tasty and the three courses coffee was excellent value (the wine wasn't bad either for £14-15). All my group loved the restaurant and will definite go back again.

The most memorable lamb I've had so far! It was well presented, the colour and smell of the meat greatly increased my saliva production and the taste of tenderness wrapped itself around my tounge....

Great value for money-we went for the three courses for £17.95, gorgeous food, lots of it, great place. Would highly recommend and will be going back!

Busy as ever, but efficient and friendly staff all round.
Were kept waiting for our table but were given a lovely glass of wine whilst we waited. Good value for money.

Sofra was lovely for a team Christmas lunch although it wasn't great for vegetarians - only one vegetarian main course option on a (very extensive) set menu, and the platter of starters given to the vegetarian came with meat on! The platter was then taken away, some of the meat removed and some left on the plate! Other than this the food was excellent, especially the meze. Service a little slow - a quick lunch ended up taking 3.5 hours which meant a late night in the office for everyone!

a really great meal - whati call friendly food as everyone shared everything. The bread is amazing and worth coming for that alone - but while you are there the healthy menu is amazing and it means you can have a dessert as you have eaten something healthy at sofra.
