Description of Sopranos
Okay, you might think this restaurant is named in honour of the unmissable tv series, but it also has live music. There's a romantic piano bar downstairs where you can listen to piano and vocalist and relax with a drink, while upstairs you can enjoy a pizza or some pasta in a casual atmosphere and watch High Street Ken scurry by. The atmosphere is modern and informal, and the menu reflects Italian heritage with a nod to local favourites. Try the starter of bruschetta, main course of escalope milano, or fish and chips and trad puds. There are also stone-baked or deep-pan pizzas. The wine list favours the Italians, but then, we do too.

Additional information for Sopranos
This Italian is well-sited for loads of before or after events, it's near Olympia, the Commonwealth Institute, and Royal Albert Hall, which makes it a useful sort of place for launches and thank-you events. Because of its charming informality and people-pleasing menu, it's also a great place for birthday parties and hen nights and such. Take over the downstairs piano bar, seating up to 45, and make it your own. The menus includes dishes like seafood salad, spaghetti carbonara, great hamburgers, and seriously worthwhile pizzas. The staff provide good service and a very warm welcome.

Had a great night a Sopranos with a fantastic female singer-songwriter-pianist entertaining us...would definitely go back & see her again!

We booked at Sopranos at the last minute on Saturday night and got a great table near the windows. The fresh pasta was lovely and they had a nice Sauvignon Blanc on the wine list. We headed down to the piano bar downstairs afterwards which was fantastic, though the bar stopped serving before the act was done (though perhaps due to popular demand they were doing encores, including some inpromptu karaoke by the birthday girl standing on the piano). Great fun all round, we'll be going back.

Sopranos is ok but the food was a little tasteless. Beer is expensive at £3 for a 275ml bottle of Carlsberg so stick with wine or soft drinks.

Had a wonderful birthday night at Sopranos in the piano bar - the girl singing & playing made for a great night's entertainment.

Sopranos was a delightful sunday evening location. We had a great sized meal and good steak. I would recommed it to my friends.

Sopranos was an excellent choice for colleagues to celebrate a birthday. Authentic, tasty Italian food, a good choice of wine and attentive service - what more can you want?

I went to Soprano's for my Mum's birthday. I wasn't sure at first how it would be but as soon as we entered and ordered the starters I knew it was a winner. The bread is fresh, soft and warm. The vegetables and pizzas are again fresh and so light that I could have kept eating all night! Definitely recommend this place!!

The two course lunch menu at £8.50 is a bargain here, i had crispy squid then chicken with spaghetti which was a touch bland but more than acceptable. My son had home made meat balls which were full of flavour @ £8 ish. Total bill for 2 adults and two children was £62 inc service, with 4 peronis, 2 cokes and 1 sprite, bread and olives.
