Description of Strada - Earls Court
Strada seems to want to be everyone's favourite neighbourhood Italian ristorante, a cause for great cheer. This branch is, like the others, very stylish, with wooden floors and a slight funkiness to the decor that makes it inviting and informal. The welcome and the atmosphere are both great. The traditional Italian menu has all your favourites; try bruschetta or buffalo mozzarella salad to start, followed by one of the terrific pastas or risottos, or an adventurous main like chargrilled bluefin tuna steak with a Tuscan lentil, French bean and artichoke salad. Or you could feast on one of their fabulous pizzas cooked in traditional wood-burning oven.

We ordered a rissoto which really was tasteless , no cheese, no flavour, just boiled rice. We asked the waitress for some extra cheese due to the lack of flavour, and she offered us another main course so we could feel totally happy with the food. She was lovely. Service in the Earls Court branch was outstanding and we left very impressed. I will come back for sure. The rest of the food was lovely. The pastas are great. Ravioli is my favorite in there.

The food at Strada is always a very high standard, and the Earl's Court branch did not disappoint. Staff were very friendly and service was good. A reasonably priced alternative to some of the other overpriced West London restaurants of the area.

Delicious Food. I like that this italian restaurant doesn't just specialise in Pasta dishes. Exquisite!

This was mt 2rd visit to Strada - Earl's Court is a great place for a good, cheap lunch. Friendley staff and clean toilets.

Strada is always going to be a pleasant experience. The food was yummy as always and the service was friendly. The only thing we felt let the evening down was the 12.5% 'optional' service charge - which wasn't so optional. I don't begrudge tipping a job well done but think its rude when the waiter just expects you to pay their sum and wacks it on your card without even consulting you.

Otherwise a lovely evening. I just wish there was a Strada some where in the west london suburbs.

Strada-Earls Court. We had a great meal here. The lobster & tiger prawn risotto was particularly delicious and the complimentary bottles of 'house' water a great saving on the usual inflated branded mineral waters.

We booked at Strada because of the 2 courses for £12.50 deal but opted for the a la carte menu because the deal wasn't going to save more than a pound or two, and the set menu was quite limited. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly, and very accommodating with our decision to change to the a la carte menu. We were all a little dissappointed with our pizzas, which were satisfactory but nothing more. I'm not sure I'd return again.

Strada in Earls Court was very good - as are all Stradas - the set menu with the Top Table offer had a good selection of dishes and was very good value.

VO reviewed Strada - Earls Court on 26/08/2008

the ambience was completely wrong with the music distrubing the soft lighting and quiet chitter chatter, we were also sat next to a not very well hidden sink. The service was very poor with the starters and mains coming out separately with approx 5 - 10 minute wait between them, in addition we felt somewhat rushed by the staff which lead to an overall poor experiance.

consistent as always

The food was delicious and there was a great selection with options available for vegan and vegetarian diners. The service was friendly but a bit slow with some orders. I would definitely consider visiting a Strada restaurant again.

Don't to to the Strada in Earls Court. I'm generally a strada fan but had a terrible time at this one. Staff were all over us to order fast, mains came before we finished starters, when it came back it was cold, they took my wine away before I finished it and then "forgot" our 241 on the bill despite us mentioning it when we sat down. The top table discount was the only up.
