For a Thursday evening, the place was surprisingly quiet. Literally it was only our table that had people on it! Wouldn't say it was a bad thing... pretty much received silver service from the waiter. The meal was presented very well and for a 3 course set menu for £30, it has to be one of those places that you don't want to tell anyone about! The only issue was that it was cool to sit in the terrace. (single glass pane) Increase heating would have been ideal.

This will be the third time we have used the Terrace on the Strand for a business meeting (4-6 people) and it has been an ideal venue. It has a bar & lounge with WiFi. Restaurant tends to be quiet, until about 3 when it becomes popular as an afternoon tea venue & can become noisy.

the terrace on the strand. Great place however booked in for lunch but could not have classic aftrernoon tea till 3. However the great staff saw it was an error via the web site and still served us. perfect for couples, or a restfull break after shopping!

We were late due to the rain and also in a rush to get to the theatre. We were assured that we would have the time. It was a little on the edge as we waited for ages for our mains (only one of us had a starter) and as result had to rush through it and missed having dessert which was the reason for not ordering a starter to begin with.

The Terrace at the Strand - we had a fantastic experience being on this restaurant. From the booking on the internet, and the personal threatment from the Restauarant Manager, to the service at our arrival.
Extremely professionel and helpful, and giving a service that was indeed great.
The food was well prepared, and this a place I really can recommend as a very good restaurant, with a price that is absolutely fair.

Terrace on the Strand: due to meetings we had to book for 12 noon, unfortunately this did affect the abience; quiet as a library. However, a very smart restaurant with reasonably priced lunch menu (wine rather expensive), with attentive & friendly staff.

We were very disappointed with Terrace on the Strand and will not be returning. The staff were very inexperienced. We ordered two steaks medium rare which, when delivered were cold (along with the sauce) and well done. when the new plates arrived the food was fine. Not impressed.

The Terrace on the Strand was very enjoyable, good service and food was served quickly but without being rushed (we had theatre tickets so were on a time schedule). Ambience excellent, chocolate pyramid recommended.
