Sugar Reef was a really fun place to eat - quite glitzy, but fun because of it. There's also a bar downstairs to have a drink at before / afterwards. Very tasty food too!

The 50% off deal at Sugar Reef made it an excellent offer, and the food was delicious, particularly the house speciality and the risotto. The service was not great we waited quite a while to place our order and had to chase to pay the bill, however it was pretty busy, maybe given the 50% off deal!

The meal at Sugar Reef was good value for the money, although choice is restricted on the special offer menu.

My visit to Sugar Reef was my worst experience on Toptable to date (5yrs in total). We arrived for our 7:30pm booking & were completely ignored by the staff. On discussion we were told to wait. By 8pm I enquired politely when we might be seated & was told with no care or concern whatsoever that they had no idea when our table might be ready. At this point we chose to leave. I was wholly disgusted by the lack of manners and with the poor organisation and would neither recommend nor return.

We thoroughly enjoyed the evening and thought the food was very nice. Our only complaint was the starters were a bit restrictive.

We held our annual Christmas dinner with friends in Sugar Reef. It was great to have both drinks, dinner and a cheesy bop in the same location, however the club closed at 1am so we had to move on. The food was tasty and the service very attentive

This is a great place for a pre theatre meal, with a special menu for you to choose from, would love to go back to have a go at the full menu.

Sugar Reef's toptable deal is pretty good but otherwise the prices for starters and desserts is a bit expensive - sticky toffee nicer when I microwave one myself. The service was average and we could have gotten away with paying 1/3 of the price as the bill was completely incorrect. However, for a quick pre-theatre deal it is reasonable.

After a fantastic visit to the theatre I took my teenage daughter to Sugar Reef restaurant where we had an excellent meal. The food was very good, service was attentive and quick and to top it all there was live music! all in all very good value for money in all ways. Will definately revisit this restaurant especially using the 50% food offer.

Sugar Reef had a busy atmosphere, waiter was very friendly and helpful, food was good although steak was on the tough side.

We had a very pleasant evening here - a great location for some clbbing after. The atmosphere was fun, although slightly too loud - diners opposite each other couldn't hear the other one speak. Food was really very tasty, fresh and good quality.

Sugar Reef had a great vibe had fab food, service was a bit slow at times but i guess it was packed so forgiven. the only thing i can fault of sugar reef is the toilet attendants, I do not like to go out for a meal and not be able to go to the toilet with having to pay for the privalage! Otherwise great place and food!

Good food and very reasonable price. The service was not great, our waitress did not seem be able to manage our group of 16 and none of her collegues provided her with assisstance. Also due to the venue having a bar we were searched before entry with was not pleasant.

The food in Sugar Reef was delicious - we all had the 'surf and turf' which, with the 50% was great value for money. Both steak and lobster were delicious and I will most certainly be returning for the same again. Happy hour drinks were cheap and tasty as well.

We were very nearly going to leave Sugar Reef without ordering after having a very distasteful experience with the woman at the front of house (rude, abrupt and unfriendly). However, we changed our minds after the waitress told us that with the toptable offer we could get 50% off the whole menu (better deal than 2 courses for £10.50 as the selection is greater). Happy hour is 50% off drinks 5-7pm, which is a great deal. Shame about the initial experience but would return.

We waited 1 hour for our meal. When it arrived it was wrong so they took it back. We waited a further 20 mins. We didn't eat at the same time as the meals came out separatly. The waitress forgot to bring the 2nd round of drinks!!!

We had the pre-theatre deal of 2 courses for £10.95. This was good value and the food was very nice. However, the service was quite poor. We waited a long time for our drinks to arrive and weren't asked if we wanted another. Nobody came to ask if we wanted anything else, so we had to grab a passing waiter to ask for the billl. It wasn't even busy in there, so there was no excuse. However, I was pleased that a service charge wasn't added to the bill automatically.

I've never considered the restaurant as I've only ever been to the bar but I was really impressed with the food. There was live Brazilian/Cuban music which made the atmosphere great. Would definitely go back again.
