Description of Taberna Etrusca
Save the airfare! We've discovered an authentic Italian trattoria in the heart of the City, complete with ripply white walls, tiled floors, beamed ceiling, Ferrari posters, and a cozy courtyard for days when the weather cooperates. The chef, Antonio Vullo, is an authentic Sicilian who has created his own versions of classic Italian dishes using the freshest of ingredients, with a particular emphasis on seasonal ingredients. What's cooking? Do try the Spaghetti Enzo (named after the owner) which has slices of fillet steak with garlic, chilli and fresh tomato tossed in spaghetti, or Medaglioni Di Bue 'Etrusca' which are beef medallions cooked with Italian smoked bacon, croutons and Madeira sauce. Or just opt for one of the daily specials, which are always a treat. We never skip the astounding dessert trolley. (Wouldn't you love our job?) The excellent wine-list is all-Italian.

Additional information for Taberna Etrusca
A cozy courtyard for days when the weather cooperates and in winter, a marquee is set up in the courtyard to accommodate Christmas parties. Taberna Etrusca would be right for all sorts of parties, from birthdays to bar mitzvahs.

Taberna Etrusca is a good place for City lunches, with friendly management and staff and a good quality of food. Interesting Italian wine list too.

Hadnt been to Taberna Etrusca for some time but had tried several of the group's other palces. This is the one that feels most like a family owned trattoria should. Good simple food well cooked. Wine liat a bit pricey for what it is

Taberna Etrusca
Quick service, very busy lunchtime, pork medallions good, fish OK.

The food is always good at this solid family run business. The salmon was very good for a main, good portions a very good place for business lunches. Definately going back.

Taberna Etrusca is one of life's constants. Great food and service. A cover charge still jars though...
