great place to go. expensive for what it is, and some of the staff were pretty inexperienced

We had an ok meal on a Saturday evening, the food was very average - the prices high for the quality you get. The restaurant was pretty empty all evening, no doubt a reflection of others having had the same experience. The atmosphere in the bar is the prime reason to come here and it's just convenience that leads you to the restaurant. Dont expect a gastronomic experience and you wont be disappointed.

The collection has a really cool bar downstairs and in general the place is very trendy, but the food is just too overpriced. A group of 6 of us went on a Saturday night, the music from the start felt like we were in a nightclub and was too loud, the food was ok - for the expensive prices I would have expected excellent food. For starters, main courses, 2 bottles of wine, and 4 bottles of water between 6 people the bill was £62 each. After dinner we went back down to the bar which was great fun.

French food by the numbers. great food, classy ambience, refined service. Better than Paris!

The Collection
264 Brompton Road
Nice atmosphere although there was a birthday party last night and the whole place was messy.
Good music but the DJ should refrain from talking too much, sounded like a cheap nightclub.
Good food, may be too expensive for what it was, nothing special, duck and ostrich.
The process of allocating guests to the tables is dissappointing, you have to say your name several times until you get to your table.
Good night out, will be going back for drinks.

Excellent!
Been to The Collection a few times....always fabulous food and service, however, the later the better, was a bit quiet at 6:00pm but was in a rush to get to a show....

I chose The Collection for a celebratory meal for a friend and I. We both found the restaurant and bar to be rather decadant and the service was excellent. The food was "to die for" and although the restaurant had run out of the cheese platter for dessert we chose a rather divine replacement in a Baileys Coffee. I very much recommend The Collection.

We had an enjoyable time at The Collection and the food was excellent with good service, but given the ambience and price it is not somewhere we will rush back to. It is priced as an exclusive restaurant but the music level is aimed at the bar crowd and the three big screens showing the football just do not fit. We liked the ability to go downstairs and have cocktail afterwards, but in summary more bar than restaurant.

the collection is simply a classy affair, sleek ambience, great for drinks and very professional service, food is tasty and well presented, a great place to impress a date.

I would have expected better service for a 15% service charge. Food was good but over priced...£25 for a burger and 4 chips. Very very busy in downstairs bar
