Description of The Fire Station
Slap bang in the centre of genteel Hammersmith lies The Fire Station, the latest offering from the team behind Soho's Alphabet Bar. Part bar-restaurant, part museum, The Fire Station pays homage to London's fire service, harking back to the Great Fire of London with specially commissioned artworks which line the tiled walls of the vibrant and cleverly designed bar. The dining area offers a more peaceful atmosphere from the buzzing bar, simply designed in creams and browns with a light and airy feel. A tempting bar menu offers scrumptious bar standards, often with a Mediterranean twist, such as Caesar Salad, Wild Boar Sausages and Mash or Steaks with Fries.
