The Globe Restaurant Reviews

We enjoyed the food and the view of the city from the Globe. For the first part of the meal, we were the only diners there which we enjoyed, but not everyone does. The service was a bit confused - one of us was given the wrong menu and it took a short while for us to be shown to a table (even thought the restaurant was empty at that stage). The food arrived in reasonable time and we all enjoyed it.

great view of London. Could have included a glass of wine.

The Globe restaurant offers spectacular views over London from an unfamilar vantage point. The food was simple and well prepared. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone...

We went to Globe unfortunately the pair of us were suffering from flu so our taste buds were very impaired so our review of the food is probably a little off. Anyway the restaurant was quiet for the early bird deal but the service was attentive and the views were spectacular. On the mains I think there should be the opportunity to order some sides. The food was good if not amazing but provided good value for circa £50 for 2 with wine. Good place to know for a quick meal before going out.

This restaurant is in a glorious setting with huge windows overlooking the rooftops of Shoreditch, down across the City, over Whitechapel towards Canary Wharf, and over to the West End. It's a hidden gem that you wouldn't really stumble on by accident unless you were staying in the hotel. The food was very good, fresh and delicious. Tuna steak and gazpacho were particular highlights. Waiters were nice, decor is formal, but calming and pleasant. Overall a great setting for a romantic dinner.

Really nice setting, lovely views across the city. Rather quiet on Saturdays, but we were assured that this is not the case during the week. Atmosphere was non existent. The food was nice, it was nothing amazing. The desert was the highlight and would love to eat that again! I would recommend my friends there, it is a nice place, but i wouldn't go back
