I'm a bit of a local at the Lavender as it's pretty much always good food. I had the phad thai which was lovely, Others had the burger which looked amazing and apparently tasted pretty good too.

The Lavender is a nice gastropub serving good food at decent prices. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I had a risotto which was lovely. Service was good even though there were 11 of us - this was less than the number I originally booked for but the staff did not complain. Only issue is really minor - just that it took a while to get the bill.

Excellent pizza at the Lavender. Service friendly and fast. Early Friday eve. when we went so busy and buzzing - suited us but some may find it too noisy.
