Description of The Normanby
The Normanby has become a beloved neighbourhood gem around East Putney, and it's easy to see why. Not only have they hit the sweet spot of creating an easygoing yet stylish venue in rich woods, sunny yellows and creams; but The Normanby also fully embraces all the things to love about a good gastropub with none of the pretension. Serving a greatest hits collection of classic British cuisine, regulars have come to love the Sunday roasts with all the trimmings, Welsh lamb stew, and oven baked chicken breast with jumbo white beans, chorizo and tomato sauce. Brunches have also gained something of a legendary status.

Additional information for The Normanby
Groups of up to 15 people can cosy up together in the main restaurant, making it a wonderful option for groups of friends and smaller birthdays or meetings. Larger parties of up to 80 can take over the entire restaurant.

The Normanby Reviews

The Normanby was a nice bar with good (although slightly small) dining area. Friendly staff, varied menu and the food was good quality. Excellent sized portions. Will come back again.

We enjoyed our meal at The Normanby. The 25% off deal was great value. There wasn't much choice of food, but what we had was very nice. The venue is a fair walk from Putney High Street and is in a quiet area with no other bars or restaurants.

We came here for a romantic dinner, atmosphere was great and service was excellent, as despite it was a Friday night we were the only ones in the restaurant at 7 to begin with. We both had steak based on the great reviews from toptable, however we both ordered medium and they came fairly well done which was a disappointment. The bruscetta starter that we had from the specials menu was excellent though and the 25% off the food bill was nice. Would recommend, but not the steak.
