This Soho Italian restaurant has been serving regulars and tourists for more than 40 years and the same head chef has been working here for at least 30 of those. The interior of the lower floor is bright, cheerful and welcoming with its signed cartoons on the walls while the upstairs is cosy with its old wooden beams.

The Piccadilly Reviews

Unfortunately the service at The Piccadilly let it down. We felt that because we had opted for the Set Menu we were treated like a 'cheap table'. The food was actually quite good, shame about the lack of vegetables, but tasty and fresh.

The Piccadilly was excellent value with the 50% off deal. The food was good enough, especially the main courses, although some of the desserts were disappointing (the Creme Brulee in particular).

The Piccadilly is a small, cosy venue with excellent, attentive service. Food was all good quality although nothing out of the ordinary. The a la carte is overpriced so go for a set menu or a deal!

The Piccadilly was a lovely place that was very accomodating and were happy to have us stay in the restaurant until we were ready to leave. The food was excellent and service good. Would visit again.

Was very disappointed with the veal in a marsala sauce as it was watery and
not as it had been the previous time......which was excellent. After complaining, every effort was made to assist me and the carbonara was very good.

On this visit to the Piccadilly, the food was very poor. I had the risotto for a main which was acceptable but the garlic bread ordered as a side was inedible it was so oily. I sent back my creme caramel dessert which was clearly straight out of a packet with some cream dashed over it. The saving grace was the service. The waiters were helpful and polite. Would have been very upset if we didn't have the 50% deal and had to pay full price.

My wife and I had a 2 course meal in The Piccadilly where we have been regularly since 1983. The chef is still the same and excellent. We both had calamare as a starter and it was crispy and tender. I had a seafod Rissotto. There was too much calamare in this but otherwise delicious. My wife had her favourite Spaghetti with clams. Lovely to see the shells served in it. We finished with a genuine espresso. I would recommend this restaurant to those who enjoy Italian food.

It is a charming little restaurant full of that lovely friendly atmosphere that only italian restaurants can give. Service was brilliant and food was lovely.

The Picadilly is a great restaurant - simple but delicious traditional dishes, excellent waiting staff and we didn't have to wait long for our food to arrive. With or without the 50% offer, it is definitely worth going to. The only bum note I might add is that although the toilets are clean, they aren' that easily accessible (up 2 flights of stairs).

The Piccadilly's 50% off total food bill is very good value - the steak came without potatoes or veg but the waiter never asked whether we wanted either when ordering. The food was served with big portions but not great quality. I did not think the toilets were very clean. All in all i think there are alot better restaurants out there but value for money wise it is good.
