This chic, friendly, comfortable restaurant seeks to redefine what a bar and grill should be. The Smithfield setting tells you there are trendsetting carnivores about. The bar is a great place to meet and drink, with new classic drinks like the Basil Grande, while the restaurant is the place to find the freshest ingredients transformed into classics both old and new, like starter of grilled sardines and salsa rosso, grilled Chateaubriand with choice of sop (basting), rub, or sauce, and a mango and passion fruit mess.

The relaxed atmosphere of this eaterie makes it the perfect spot for launches, parties, and non-uptight corporate events as well as smaller-group celebrations. You can hire the whole venue, seating up to 120, or avail yourself of their private dining area seating up to 10. The grills that make up the menu will suit absolutely everyone. Try starter of bbq baby back ribs, main course of creole rubbed tuna steak, and pud of citrus baked cheesecake. Seriously. The drinks and wines are just what the doctor ordered.

We arrived at 7pm and were promptly seated in one of the very funky booths on offer, the food was terrific and the service delightful. Would definitely recommend for a night out, relaxed atmosphere, a most enjoyable evening!

Smithfield Bar and Grill provide really good service and food. We went on Friday and was booked for 4 people but it turned out to be 7 of us and staff were very helpful and got us a bigger table. The Rib eye steak was superb and is recommend trying. This is excellent value for money on the toptable 2 for 1 deal.

Had dinner on Friday night with a group of friends, and the service was terrific. Food was excellent quality and the atmosphere was great - very buzzy and a good choice to socialise with friends. I will definitely return.

Very good service and very eager to please which is always a good thing! The steaks were excellent although it was slightly disappointing that they had run out of oysters at 8pm on a Saturday night (although they did manage to find us two spares that we could have so not all bad!). The ambiance is a cross between Living Room and Gaucho Grill. We will definately go back for the steak if nothing else!

Smithfield Bar and Grill was fine, but not amazing. Without the TopTable 2 for 1 offer I might have been less satisfied, but we had a fun evening and pretty good food.

The Smithfield Bar and Grill is a nice, modern place to have dinner. The sirloin steak and beetroot and goat's cheese salad which I had were good but not spectacular. Good value with the offer.
