The Terrace Restaurant has west end prices but the whole experience is worth every penny. With the Top Table food discount it is a steal.
It certainly makes my list of best restaurants in town.

We arrived 20 minutes early to The Terrace and intended to have a drink at the bar. We were seated at the bar but received no service for a solid 10 minutes. Although the restaurant had a nice ambience about it, we did not find the food extraordinary by any means. If we had to pay full price for our food we would have felt extremely let down as the food was good but not great and starters left something to be desired. We really did enjoy the mushroom soup they brought us in between courses.

I went with my friend. The ambience was great, food was great and service was great. The portions were small though.

Sat Jan 3rd..8.30pm..Visited"TheTerrace" ,attracted by the 50% off food offer and previous reviews. We enjoyed excellent, unfussy, tho attentive service in a very pleasant spacious restaurant and enjoyed all three dishes plus a small complimentary tastyappetiser.Had I paid full price,I would have thought it on the pricey side but then we were in a 5* hotel just off Piccadilly Circus.Nice evening!

Terrace Restaurant had a very romantic atmosphere, with a special feeling of being in a conservatory in the middle of the city, although the tables near the windows were quite drafty.
The menu was very good with a good variety and choices which do not appear on menus in every restaurant. I do however find the food a little too oily, buttery and creamy in an attempt to make the food tastier. The food was very tasty nonetheless.

The Terrace was very good and tremendous value with the 50% off food top table offer. My wife enjoyed the lamb main course and I did with my lemon sole. We told the staff that we had only an hour to eat before our theatre show started (Twelfth Night, definitely worth seeing too) and all was served in time. They even took the 50% off at the first go of presenting the bill which many restaurants forget or don't do.
With the 50% offer I definitely recommend The Terrace.

At 50% off the food this was exc service and food, if at full price with a high priced though basic wine list it would be poor value for money.

As well as the food being well cooked, well presented and quite delicious, the staff were friendly and very attentive. I'd given them prior notice that we were celebrating my father's 60th birthday and they paid special attention to this over desert by inscribing a birthday message onto the plate. The 50% discount offer made this exceptionally good value for money and I'm really glad to have chosen to celebrate at The Terrace.

I visited The Terrace restaurant last Friday and was extremely impressed with the ambience, the service and the delicious food. Although, as a vegetarian, the selection was small, my onion soup and butternut squash were delicious. My mum was equally as complimentary about her duck pate and sirloin steak.
It's a beautiful restaurant with a windowed wall affording diners a panoramic view of Piccadilly. Staff are friendly too. However, still a little pricey even with 50% off the a la carte menu.
