Generally all very good but rather expensive for pub food and the main course followed very quickly after the starter suggesting it was being kept warm in the kitchen.

The Wells is a nice local place. The food was ok, not spectacular but fine for a casual meal with friends. Special mention goes to dessert - honeycomb, chocolate parfait and cherry compote. Delicious!
