Description of Timo Restaurant
Considering its location and the all-round quality it offers, Timo is excellent value. No wonder it's popular with the locals. This being Kensington High Street, locals include Sir David Frost, Boy George, and Sunday Times restaurant critic Michael Winner. Charming owner Piero Amodio is often around to welcome guests into his narrow, serene space elegantly done out with brown and beige chairs, wooden floor, and pale walls supporting artwork of a walled garden. Pasta is where Timo's kitchen really excels; everyone loves to start with tortellioni filled with braised guinea fowl, beetroot butter and thyme, followed either by ravioli stuffed with ricotta, spinach, butter and sage (lunch menu) or tagliatelle with prawns, asparagus and cherry tomatoes (a la carte). If there's room, order the chocolate and hazelnut fondant; it's exquisite.

Additional information for Timo Restaurant
Timo welcomes private and business events of up to 58 people. An equally smart cream and white private basement room caters for more intimate parties of 10 to 18 guests. A la carte and set menus offered. Brown suede sofas in the bar beckon for post-prandial tipples. An extensive drinks list offers all sorts of aperitifs, grappas and dessert wines as well as a neat selection of classic cocktails. On Valentine's Day the usual background music is replaced by a guitar player.

I booked Timo restaurant for my manager for a client lunch. From the outside he felt it woud be extremely expensive but was pleasantly surprised by the great lunch time offers available and superb quality of food.

Timo is everything you should expect from an Italian restaurant. Delicious food with an excellent menu, great wine choice,(if a little pricey) good ambience and the service was excellent. I will definitely be going back!

Going to Timo was a lovely experience! The food was out of this world and the service great! I had the most delicious prawn and butternut pasta to start and I have never tasted anything so exquisite before! The only problem was that it took 40 minutes for them to eventually get the bill to us. I will definitely go there again!

Timo's was a new restaurant to us - and on a Thursday evening it was quite quiet. This suited us as we like restaurants that do not place you within 12 inches of the next table. Food was really nicely cooked and with sensible sized portions. But the service was what made the evening - it was exceptional - discrete but helpful. The head waiter recommended delicious and well priced wines and delightful digestifs. If you are out towards High St Ken, then this is a must visit.

My manager went to Timo for a working dinner and was very impressed with the food and service. One of the best Italian restaurants in London.

I picked to take my wife to Timo last week after reading the excellent reviews on Top Table - and we weren't dissapointed. The food was excellent, as was the attentive service. After reading some of the reviews I understand the comments about lack of ambience as it is a bit quiet in the restaurant - could do with some background music but this isn't neccessarily that important for me & my wife after a few drinks!
Would definitely come back here as the food was amazing and beautifully presented

Timo's food was wonderful. Very authentic Italian cooking. The tiramisu was amazing! It was quite pricey, but I would highly recommend for a special occasion.

Timo is an oasis of hospitality and old fashioned service, with very high quality food. The wine list is on the pricey side but our £26 choice was wonderful. We intend to return.

After hearing the good reviews we decided to try Timo last saturday evening. We weren't disappointed, the food was amazing, the best cod I have had in a very long time. good selection of wines, and all very reasonable for Kennsington. service was very friendly and we will definitely go back. Now one of my favorite Italians in London.

Previous reviews of fantastic food lured us here on a Friday night. We had a great evening, ambience was lovely and the service was impeccable from start to finish. The food was prepared to perfection and we can see how this restaurant keep people coming back. Definitely recommend a visit.
