Tom Ilic Reviews

Tom Ilic is a local gem. The quality of the food was as good as you'd expect from a top restaurant, possibly even a michelin starred restaurant with the bonus of it being local. Service was attentive but not intrusive and the restaurant itself had a warm atmosphere. Probably too expensive (though not overly so) to be a regular eat but would definitely recommend for special occasions.

We had a lovely evening at Tom Illic. The food was delicious and the ambience was just right. My friend had the lamb and rated it 10/10, this is a real first for him! I had the belly of pork which was scrumptious and the ladies enjoyed their Monkfish very much. I take my hat off to Tom Illic for providing such wonderful food at a great price, thanks very much!

Shame Tom Ilic was so empty on a Friday night. The food was amazing and I would be sorry to see it go if it can't keep afloat. I would encourage all of you to visit this restaurant which is a meat eaters paradise. Good value too and worth the trek to the slightly out of the way location

We went to Tom Ilic on a Saturday night and had a lovely meal. The food was amazing and I was so full I could hardly move. The service was excellent and we will definatley be going back. We did manage to rack up a £100 bill between 2 so perhaps this will be reserved for special occassions though.

Had the Sunday lunch special at Tom Illic. It was very tasty. Everything was cooked to perfection.

Another excellent meal at Tom Ilic. Fabulous food, extremely reasonable prices. A shame that the place wasn't full on a Thursday evening, I'd hate to see it disappear. Will be returning, without doubt.

This was my second visit to Tom Ilic, a trip that I was extremely excited about having been wowed the first time I went there. This experience was not quite as impressive, with new staff members and a couple of dishes that weren't as brilliant as on my last visit. Ultimately, this is still a fantastic local restaurant that provides interesting and exceptional food at reasonable prices. I will always want to go back.

Tom Ilic on a Saturday night. Could only get 7pm booking and now understand why. Possibly best food I have ever had in London, waiting staff lovely and 4 of us ate, drank and were merry for less than £200. As restaurant filled up it has a good buzz to it. Only complaint is that there is only 1 loo! But it didnt matter - great place to eat.

While is was disapointing that two of the starter options were not available by the time we placed our order, Tom Illic still remains excellent value for money and prices have been unaffected by the many rave reviews it has recived since opening. While sweetbreads and various other more unusual ingredients may not be for everyone, there are options to suit less adventurous palates with every dish cooked to perfection.

was looking forward to trying out Tom Illic but it was not as good as I had hoped. The place is rather stark and the staff though reasonable don't help to make the evening enjoyable by lounging at the bar! Food rather small portions but quite tasty given that it was such a small menu I was a bit disappointed. Pricey wine too - Will not be going back as there is better food and prices in East Dulwich
