Description of Tootsies - Haverstock Hill
If you fancy a coffee, sociable lunch or a spot of people watching from behind giant potted plants head for Tootsies in Belsize Park, with its large outside seating area facing out onto Haverstock Hill. This American-style chargrill restaurant offers a clean and modern New England-style interior with wood and pastel decor to compliment a hearty menu of steaks, quality burgers and salads. The Tootsies steak sandwich (£6.95) goes down well for lunch, or ramp up the chargrill action with the Tootsies medley of baby back ribs and chicken skewers. Friendly staff and a laid back atmosphere add to a sense that meals are meant to be lingered over. All-day menu.

Tootsies is great if you want casual american food. They do some great smoothies too!

Tootsies provides good value meals, with very good service. Unfortunately, uncontrolled screaming children at adjacent table somewhat challenged the atmosphere.

Tootsies is a treat for me. Great food and not just burgers!

Tootsie's is a decent enough place to go for brunch or burger. It was clean and the staff were friendly. Main complaint was that they don't have soya milk, though that wouldn't stop me for going back for a meal.

Tootsies Belsize Park was fine but that's about as far as I'd go. Yes it is relatively cheap but my burger was over-loaded, not as tastey as I'd hoped for and the restaurant was full of kids.
I'd recommend going elsewhere and avoiding the children and getting better food by paying a little bit more. Couldn't fault the service though for the price.

Tootsies has a great menu, a bit overprices especially alcohol. Servers started out very attentive but as the meal dragged on we would get 15minutes with no attention. But the food is really nice, especially the prawns.

i went for a meal at Tootsies, Haverstock Hill, with my friend who had a craving for ribs! That what we both ordered and enjoyed it! The restaurant had good music, friendly waitresses and good service! if i had to be critical, i would say that it wasn't to gourmet standards, but then again, thats not what i was expecting! It was slightly more expensive than it should be as it was only ribs and chips with a diet coke for £15 a head... maybe a Toptable discount would have gone down well here!

We booked a birthday celebration for 4 children and 3 adults. The children's menu is excellent with a wide and appetising choice of mains and deserts at very reasonable prices. There is also a very varied adult menu. The food served however ranged from quite nice to average. Service was fairly quick with a cafe ambience and pleasant outdoor seating where you can watch the world go by. Ideal for family as the seating area is fairly spacious. All in all enjoyable and reasonably priced.

We were 2 adults and 2 9-year-old boys. Nipped in for burgers, chips and shakes and all had a thoroughly enjoyable meal. Excellent service, very child (and adult) friendly.
