Description of Tootsies - Putney Warf
Open views of the river and Putney Bridge from its terrace make Tootsies a great place to finish a stroll beside the river at. Building strength back up again is done American style with chargrill specialities - the Jalapeno burger (£8.95) is a spicy favourite. If the sun hasn't got it's hat on out you can sit inside and enjoy the New England feel of warm wood and light colours, with booths for privacy and long bench seating for sociable chow. Part of Tootsies looks out onto The Piazza, a pretty restaurant area with a European cafe culture feel. Very popular with families; kids love the junior menu of fish and chips and hot dogs.

Admittedly it was Sunday evening when a group of us went to Tootsie's in Putney. It was empty but we were a lively group so we didn't really notice. The food was terrific. Most of us had burgers & they were substantial! and very filling. If you had to twist my arm, I would say that they were better than GBK! Plus the fact that we didn't have to wait for a table was a bonus. The wine (a white rioja) was also lovely if a little pricey. I'd definitely recommend Tootsies for a tasty dinner.

Tootsies Putney Wharf was very disappointing and not a patch on Gourmet Burger Kitchen. Our burgers were dry and the rolls cool. We also learned that most of the inclusive service charge went to the company, not the staff. We won't be back.

This branch is in a lovely location on the river in Putney. Unfortunately the restaurant was empty which contributed to the lack of atmosphere. However the staff were friendly and attentive without being in your face all the time. As for food, the nacho's were amazing and the burgers were as good as you can expect a burger can be. If you are into laid back American restaurants then this is definitely for you!

I went to Tootsies on a Tuesday night and the place was empty. My friends ordered burgers and ribs which were great, but my crispy noodle salad wasnt good at all - it was missing 50% of the ingredients listed (spring onions, coriander and snowpeas, pretty obvious things) and didnt taste of anything. I questioned this and the manager said they would do another one with the right ingredients (why was it missing the ingredients in the first place?) but I changed my order - they didnt charge for it.

The food was good, lots of choice, very comfy chairs, and a beautiful location right in front of the river.

Tootsies in Putney Wharf is a nice restaurant, selling good food. The service was fantastic and the restaurant did everything it said on the tin!

Went to Tootsies in Putney for the first time - not expecting too much being a chain restaurant. Pleasanlty surprised! Service was impeccable, food was of a good quality (shared a calamari starter and we both had steaks that were well cooked) and it was a great allround experience. Can't wait for summer to come so we can try the outside seating. Definitely recommend.

We had lunch at Tootsies Putney Warf on Sunday 25 nov. We have dinned before and always found it a great place to take the kids. This time we were a table of 7 with 3 toddlers. The food was great for the kids and plenty to keep them amussed. Staff were attentive but did seemed rush and forgot/made many errors which is always a shame. Most addult meals were OK. My salmon was very dry. Wld reccommend more for the kids!

Had one of their 'famous' burgers: whilst large and flavoursome wasn't the best burger ever and at £10 quite expensive. Menu had lots of choice. Best thing was being able to sit near the river.
